We were excited to try the lobster roll as this is rare in NM. Unfortunately, it was super pricey ($ 15) dollars for just the roll. If I’m spending that kind of money, it better be outstanding. The roll was not toasted which is traditional, and literally a store bought hotdog bun. I would expect a homemade brioche bun or something a lite more special to hold this $ 15 dollar lobster meat, The lobster was soaked in butter, which made it difficult to taste the actual lobster. I tried it but would not go back.

Awesome lobster roll and yeah it’s $ 15 what do you expect? It’s a pile of delicious buttery LOBSTER on a roll not a bunch of mayo and filler your lucky they don’t charge $ 30 lol so yeah support someone making something local and special :)

I travel to ABQ at least once a month and after hearing about this place in January, I couldn’t wait to try it. After several months of just not being in town on the right day I finally had the opportunity to eat here.
OMG! It was awesome. If was well worth the wait. Cherish (the young lady coking/​serving) was very friendly and helpful.
The lobster was very flavorful and portioned well. I can’t say enough about the toasted bread that the lobster was served on it was so delightfully buttered and toasted it was a perfect compliment to the poached lobster.
Looking forward to eating there again when they have more on the menu.

Meat looks a little like crab claws but I’ll trust that it’s lobster. Overall, lots of meat so that’s a plus. Would recommend a much larger toasted bun that could hold all that meat, make me fuller, and could hold in all that moisture instead of being soggy and falling apart. Side of aioli sauce would have great as well. Not bad but could be better. Worth trying once.

Butter, lobster, bread, beer. What more could anyone want? Super delicious lobster rolls are as good as it gets. Especially enjoying them on the Marble brewery patio in the hot NM sunshine. Perfectly cooked lobsta and we wolfed it down in no time. Almost went back for more, but alas, the $ 15 price tag was a bit much for our frugal wallets. Priorities were met as we drank down Marble double IPAs and double White. Highly recommend all of the above!

Fairly simple menu choice– Lobster Roll for $ 15 or add chips and dessert for $ 20. Maine Street Lobster does one thing and does it well!
So I’m at La Cumbre and my hunger has me wondering what this new little vendor has for sale outside. What a surprise to see Lobster instead of Hot Dogs or Cheese Fries! The guy explains to me that its 4 ounces of Maine Lobster poached in Irish Butter served on a grilled Roll. It’s on! A few minutes later I’ve got the grin with butter on my chin! Lobster from Maine is the sweetest and best IMO.
Best of luck to Main Street Lobster, that sandwich is a winner baby! I’m on the lookout for that little trailer of yours.

This place is perfect and definitely go check it out at your local bar. There’s no better place to get a lobster roll in town for sure, and actually an amazing deal at only 15 a roll for what you get.

You can’t go wrong with this sandwich, so utterly delicious! Buttery, rich, and it melts in your mouth. The sandwich has big chunks of meat and fills you up quick! I’ll definitely be back again!

This has to be one of the best food trucks in the city! The lobster is better than most sit down restaurants. Some may think that $ 15 for a food truck sandwich is pricey, but when they taste the perfectly prepared lobster, they are sure to feel that it is worth the price. I will be back!

I bought and ate 2 lobster rolls because they’re AMAZING. I hope that I see them often at La Cumbre. I love delicious food with my beer, and this cart definitely qualifies. Get their lobster rolls!
