My husband and I went there yesterday afternoon to bowl a few games. After we bowled the first game we got a little hungry and decided to get some snacks, but it turns out that they don’t serve food there! I have never heard of a bowling alley that doesn’t serve food! When I asked them, they informed me that they have vending machines! Wow. That was’t the only thing wrong with that place. The entire time that we were bowling, our ball kept getting stuck after every bowl and we had to manually press the reset button. The place was so run down it was awful. We won’t be going there again.

Really fun, mellow place to hang out. Also, they have bowling. So, if you want, you can bowl. You know, if that’s your thing. Anyways…

This place can be rented out for functions, and that is why we came. From the outside you wonder is this abandoned? But you go inside and it is still alive and has some heart. Retro might be an understatement as the TV’s inside look like they came from the 80’s. The lanes themselves are in good shape, the balls were a bit chipped. Communal balls just are there for abuse anyway. Shoes were in okay shape. This could be a cherry of a bowling ally if some major money was sunk in. I personally think Albuquerque needs a church of Dudeism, what better way to pray than to knock down some pins in a revitalized bowling ally from the 50’s or 60’s, just guessing? They have a bar inside and beer prices and selection are pretty good. We opted for the Happy camper IPA. The upstairs bar also has a popcorn machine, I love that smell. The event we attended had food provided. Bit it looked like the a chicken green chile vendor was present most of the time.

Went here for a bowling party. Never thought I’d be at a bowling alley on vacation in Albuquerque, but things happen. Lucky 66 is a pretty large place. I was surprised it wasn’t all that busy for a Friday night? Outside they have a volley ball court and I think a playground? Inside you have a restaurant and across is a bar that has karaōke. After a certain time, glow in the dark bowling takes affect and they start bumping top 40 songs. I was a little perturbed by their alcohol rules. You have to have two people at a table per pitcher of beer. Jello shots, you are only allowed 2 per person, I don’t know why? I just felt it was a little strict especially when you are over 21, not like you are going there to get super wasted at a bowling alley. That would just be plum stupid.
