Not a review of the company, just an fyi. I called and asked about repairing my Kitchenaid mixer. They only repair the larger appliances. The lady that answered the phone was really nice.

This review isn’t so much about repair as it is about quality. I recently purchased a Kitchen Aide Professional 600 stand mixer with all the goodies. I had an issue with the bowl slipping while mixing. One phone call later the issue was taken care of. No drama, no long waits, dial, ring, answer, friendly guy, issue taken care of, end of call. This mixer is awesome. It has the power to grind meat or grains. It makes ice cream(like I need that convenience). It has the capacity to allow me to make huge batches of cookies, cakes, pasta, etc for gatherings or meetings, or holidays. No bogging down, no lumps of unmixed ingredients. It is thorough and cuts my work time in half. Yes, I did go the extra mile and purchased all the accessories. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that most are interchangeable with my little kitchen aid mixer I have had for years. ** the ice cream maker is not interchangeable as the older model is a tilt head and my new one is a lever bowl lift which holds the bowls in «pegs». ** Yes, I cling to it– it is my first real appliance… giggle. So, like I said with my sewing machine, if you want quality, stability, longevity, go the extra and get the quality– you wont regret it. To clarify, my older mixer has 250 watts– in its youth that was top of the line– can you imagine 250 watts in the late 70’s= unheard of… lol… so, wanted to go for the power, and update. Glad I did. I was also happy I could get it in black, with the stainless bowl which compliments my stainless kitchen! Will review my stove later.
