It’s a Jersey Shore cigar bar with some dance areas. The fire place spots upstairs are cool and they have fancy bathrooms. Crowd seemed sort of ghetto fabulous.

Some of the best most friendly bartenders ever! Ask for Ben, he’s amazing! Always exceptional customer service!

I want Imbibe to be amazing for a couple reasons. 1) I love Nob Hill and the more places to go, the better. 2) Sometimes I want to smoke a cigar or my pipe away from my house and it’s nice to have one place in town where I can enjoy those and have someone pour a drink for me. Sadly, Imbibe has become like a Little Debbie Sno-ball for me, once a year I see it and think, «Ooooo, I used to love this!» Then I sample it and remember why it’s been a year since the last one. Service, eh, I haven’t really had a problem with this because I’m not usually there when there are more than 10 people in the bar. Long gone are the days of checking out the groups of college girls out for their 3rd «girls night out» of the week or the single moms on the prowl. Instead, I’m there with the old guys watching the afternoon sports discussing the election. During those times, the bartenders are usually so bored, they’re just standing there chatting with us the entire time anyway. Drinks, eh. Along with the single moms, so has my interest in trying out new drink concoctions so spending $ 10 for a gin and ginger I can make at home is a necessary evil for going out but not something to look forward to. The cigars. Now here’s the shame. When Imbibe opened, the(mostly) gals working the front were trained on the finer details of cigars. Filler, cut style, size, they always had fantastic recommendations and seemed to genuinely enjoy what is now a niche enjoyment. The last few times the gals, while trying to be helpful, appeared to have no idea about anything except the prices. The last 2 sticks I bought were so dry they cracked as they were cut and one time I actually had to educate the server how to spot a dry cigar and why it’s a bad thing. Alas, I have to give Imbibe 2 stars for being something different and trying but they’ve obviously decided to pursue the Monte Vista college party crowd and it just makes for a bleh experience for anyone else.

Imbibe– Young crowd, poor service, and I think Snoop Dog on the turntables. Albuquerque’s nightlife always makes me want to stay home. Or hang my hat at any local brewery and cash in at midnight. Like momma always said, nothing good ever happens after midnight. We were there long enough for a Makers on ice and to let the stench of cigars make us nauseous. Pass this place if you are a non-smoker. I occasionally have a smoke and the smell still made me feel dirty.

I couldn’t post 0 stars. So I came to Imbibe today and purchased a cigar which was a horrible idea. I know better but I did since I forgot mine at home. Of course, it was crazy dry and cracked down

At girls night on Friday we found our self here and after going to several other places we were quite happy. The music was bumping, the smokers in our group were able to smoke and we liked the variety of the«rooms» we spent some time on the roof top but more of it dancing in the room with the dancefloor. The dj kept the music bumping and the dance floor full. We were drinking cocktails and when I paid my tab looks like they were priced at $ 7 a piece not to awful but not exactly cheap either considering we only paid $ 6 a cocktail earlier in the evening and those were way bigger which much more alcohol. Overall the group had a good time and we would return.
