Gambei Wellness Spa and Salon

I went out of my way to stop by to make an appointment or see if they could accept a walk in and they were closed. However according to the hours of operation they should have been open. This bugged me even though I agree it sounds dumb but I wont try again! Have your correct hours posted and don’t waste peoples time!

I called and was able to book an appointment (pedicure) on the same day. Shannon at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. I had an expired Groupon, which they were more than happy to apply the remaining credit. When we arrived, Shannon offered us tea (green tea with toasted brown rice — SO DELICIOUS!!!)
Brittany did a wonderful job on my toes, I chose a sparkly green, and she suggested that color goes well with another green underneath. She was meticulous, gentle, and did an amazing job.
Will definitely be back!

This is the best place ever for so many things! Staff welcome you and treat you like family. It has a great and relaxing energy. It is my absolutely favorite place to get a pedicure, and I have been to lots of different places. Not only does it feel and look amazing, but it is one of the only places that uses organic and green everything. I feel good knowing that I’m not exposing myself to unneeded chemicals to look great. So worth it! I highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING! Noël provided the best facial ever. And I’ve had lots of facials. I love the organic products and ambiance of this place. High quality. Brittany gave me a wonderful hair treatment and was very knowledgable. They were extremely accommodating!!! Justin at the desk is great too. Love this place. I brought my friend and she said this place beats a lot of local famous spas.

Just wanted to give Brittany some justly deserved props for a very nice mani-​pedi I got on a Sunday morning at Gambei Wellness Spa and Salon. I made my appointment on they Salon’s website. There were a couple of glitches about the system… one it has the capability to recognize if you are in another time zone and shows the time in your location and not at the salon. That made for confusion about what time I reserved for the appt. They called me the day before to confirm so it was resolved prior to the day thank goodness. Second I had a Groupon and the website and the Groupon did not use the same verbiage so what I bought and what I reserved were two different things according to Brittany. I got a great gel mani and regular polish pedi. Both looked fantastic! I never had a gel polish applied before so it was a learning experience for me. Brittany was very patient and explained as she went. I have had friends, customers, total strangers comment on how nice my nails were. The gel did last a good couple of weeks and I stretched it out another week by trimming them. I want to mention the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere in the salon too. I would return for sure if I am in Albuquerque.

Brittney — is a nail person extraordinaire! My gel nails look amazing! Brittney does an amazing job pampering each person and ensuring ultimate attention is given to each nail. The products are organic, the atmosphere is tranquil and full of positive energy. I wanted a nail place where I didn’t feel rushed and like «a number» — this is the place! The salon offers so many other amazing services! Only place I know you can be pampered on a Sunday — hair, nails, massage, yoga, etc! I love it! Can’t wait to go back to change my nail color!

Great place! Very accommodating and the friendliest staff. Had a prenatal massage that was good. Unique for ABQ since they are an organic business. Will try a haircut next.

What a wonderful and relaxing place! The little renovated house is beautiful and even though it is right on Lomas, you would never know once you step inside. Lisabeth was so calming and informative and gave me a great acupuncture treatment. I felt like she listened really well to my needs and she even sent me home with some great wellness tips (not to mention a little welcome gift!). I would highly recommend Gambei to anyone looking for a very conscientious, peaceful place to have acupuncture!
