Filiberto’s

Tons of options. Decent prices. Tasty food. It’s not gourmet but it’s a thousand times better than taco bell. Veggies, meat and tortillas were all fresh and tasty. I got the carne asada tacos. Can’t go wrong!

Love their food. Unfortunately I’ve been two mornings the past week and they weren’t open when they should have been.

As fast, tasty, dirty burritos go. Filiberto’s is by far my favorite here in Albuquerque.
(And when I say dirty I just mean not-​so-​healthy-​for-​you.)
They’re quick, delicious, and like most Mexican fast food chains in the SW, each location is unique. That’s what makes these eateries the best. One container of guacamole is not the same as the other. It keeps things mixed up and you get to see how the individual cooks stack up against each other.
My go to is a Chorizo Breakfast Burrito add Papas and I’m never disappointed at all. When I’m feeling really fatty I’ll have the Carne Asada Fries. Yes, I said it, Carne Asada Fries, and they’re just as delicious as they sound.
As I’ve only ever rocked the drive-​thru. I’m not able to speak on the interior of the facility itself, but my customer service has never been lacking.
As fast Mexican eateries go, Filiberto’s has exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to a dirty burrito. So go ahead and get yourself one when you have that late night craving. I’m fairly sure you’ll enjoy it.

For me this is late night munch type food. There was a time when I might have eaten here regularly but my appreciation for healthier stuff is gonna prevent that. Still, if there is a sighting of me at Filiberto’s I will probably be holding one of their Chicken Burritos.
First time through I had to try the 99 cent taco. It’s shredded beef and the whole thing is dropped in the deep fryer. Tasted ok but just too oily. Relleno was alright but once was enough. I do like the red and green sauces in the little cups that come with your food. Much better than a taco sauce packet full of preservatives etc. that the chains give!
Like I was saying, Chicken Burrito…

I finally found a place that serves Horchata! Their horchata is pretty good but not the best that I’ve had. The food here seems decent but nothing really special. I think I’ve had bad luck picking the wrong order and that is why I wasn’t able to experience something good. They also have churro’s here which is decently good, but once again isn’t the best that I’ve had. They have original, caramel, strawberry, and vanilla churro. The Pollo Asado burrito that I order was REALLY REALLY greasy and salty. I didn’t enjoy it very much. It has got to be one of the greasiest burrito I’ve ever had (no exaggeration). This particular restaurant had flies everywhere! It seems pretty annoying with flies flying all over while you’re eating.
