Eye Associates Of New Mexico

Not much one can say about an eye center. This building contains many counters and many places where one can check in. I’ve been here several times and each time I’ve had great service. The office was professional and efficient. They have a few televisions and water to quench your thirst. My waiting time is usually short and the visit was usually quick even though even though I didn’t have a typical eye visit. Doctors are friendly and take time to answer any questions you may have and they don’t give you an irradiated look if you don’t quite understand their medical lingo. I would recommend eye associates to my family and friends. They even have a convenient shop where you can pick out your frames. Thumbs up!

Wow I just read the other reviews … I had eye surgery here on Monday. Never go on a Monday … My surgery was scheduled for 1 pm and I waited two hours … Disclaimer I’m from Los Angeles so I have learned to wait. I take 2 stars off for waiting… However the nurses once you get in to the surgery area were all outstanding +3 stars. the surgeon and surgery were excellent and they did a great job, which for me was worth the wait. I will definitely call this a «mill» but at least they have done this a million times :).

My 80 year old mother scheduled to have a cataract removed. The day I took her in for surgery they informed us I would have to sit and wait while they did surgery. They give you a NUMBER on a piece of paper to identify who is waiting for the NUMBERED patient! There is a phone in the waiting room and a sign on the wall that says «please answer the phone when it rings and call out the NUMBER!» Once the patients number comes up you go into the surgery area by following signs with arrows to get the patient so you can drive them home. I had to wait in the room for 3 hours! While my mother had to wait for one hour to be taken into surgery. It’s an EYE SURGERY FACTORY!!! Makes me Ill to think the owner is allowing this type of management of surgeries. When my mother scheduled to be seen about the issue with her eye they had no record of her appointment and said she would have to wait for two hours to see the available doctor. Do yourself a favor and go to another group of doctors.

Horrible customer urgency. You get treated like a number, not a person. Horrible wait times. (Been here 2 hours and still haven’t seen the doctor). Staff doesn’t seem to care.
