..go elsewhere. Sorry the pizza here just doesn’t do cut it; little to no sauce on a cracker and condiments from he salad station throw on my pizza without care and hardly cooked Saturday May 28th2016 was the last straw for me for this place; i’m okay with sandwiches in a pinch but plenty of better options exist and the salad is basic. The only real standout of Dion’s anymore is the ranch dressing which has MSG to enhance it’s depth of flavor.

Dion’s Coors Location — Albuquerque, NM Alright, so, I love Dion’s, and the chain as a whole easily gets a 5 from me. I mean, I love them so much I frequent them at least once a week for either pizza, salad, or sandwiches. I mean really, they make the best of all three of those items in the whole city by about 10 miles over any competitor. It’s just this location that drives me nuts. It’s the closest one to my house, so if my husband and I are craving something, this is the one we go to. Now, when I am at work, I’m close the the Morris/Montgomery or Wyoming/Academy locations, and I haven’t had the same gripes about those as I do this one. This one just angers me more than it satisfy s me. For one, they cannot maintain the drive through at all. I don’t know what it is. If they just get hit too hard, or they can’t make people move, or what, but every-time I come here no matter when it is, I almost instantly regret it because the parking lot is full to the brim and the drive up line is half way to backing up Coors. Second gripe, I have almost never gotten a correct order from this location, be it a call in order or an online order. I mean, it’s been anywhere from they have just straight up forgotten to cook my order, to one time I got a completely different pizza than ordered. Third gripe, and probably the one that made me the angriest. I had an online order for 2 subs. Came about 30 mins after ordering to give them plenty of time to make it. It’s a Sunday night at almost 9 pm. The place is almost busier than I have ever seen them. Line in drive up is about 20 cars, parking lot has like 2 spaces left. I get in, a line of about 20 people are waiting to order. Since I had an online order, and it was paid for and I just needed them to hand it to me, I went to the pick up window where they call out orders. I stood there for about 7 minutes before someone asked if they could help. When I told them I just needed to grab my ONLINEORDER, he looked perplexed and then started to go grab it, turned around, and said go stand in the cashier line. Didn’t say sorry or anything. Completely ridiculous to make me stand in the line for people ordering or paying for food. He just was too damn lazy to walk his butt back to the table and grab my food. I was PISSED. I wasted all that time waiting for him to say something only to have to waste another 10 – 15 minutes standing in a line to have a cashier waste his time to run and grab me food when that kid could have done it and I would have been out of everyone’s way in about 3 minutes. I asked the cashier if there was any reason why I couldn’t just pick up my online order at the pick up window like I had done before. He said, oh no, you could have. I let him know I was pretty unhappy about being forced to wait then because some dumb employee was too lazy and/or rude to go grab my food and to make me waste 20 minutes for no reason. So, I do believe in the rule of 3 strikes you’re out. I won’t be coming back to this particular Dion’s until they get their act together. We’ll just drive out of our way to go to the one on Rio Bravo instead. Haven’t had any problems with that location.

Upon walking in this location, it was busy, so I expected a longer wait and I expected delays, not a problem as I had time to spare. But I noticed a worker that got called up to the front that was cleaning a corner booth after me being there only about 5 minutes. Waited in line, ordered, sat down in the section the guy was cleaning. I took a picture of the mess that was just left there for my entire meal. Nobody went back to finish cleaning. I was there over 40 minutes, and really it wasn’t busy after about 15 minutes of me being there. Once I got my food, there was no more line, there were workers gathering at the window to pick up your food just talking and laughing, somebody could’ve cleaned this up. The food was same old dions. I haven’t had it in about 3 years, I was hoping I would reminisce what is so great about this place, but I can’t. I never really thought dions was all that great. I mean, it’s good, and I’m happy it all started here, but, its not going to blow you away. Prices are a little up there, but I really don’t think they are asking for an outrageous amount, it’s a fair price for what you are getting. They really do make your food right there as its ordered, you can watch them make your pizza. It’s fun, especially for kids or a group. Plenty of seating. Pizzas always come out hot and fresh. If you have a common name you should put it under another name so you dont get confused with another customers order that may share your name. Food is good, I just don’t think the taste really lives up to its full potential, and it’s always messy with trash cans over stuffed and sticky shakers for cheese and chile flakes.

Great pizza. On the way from Chicago to SoCal had the taste for a pizza. Found Dino’s on Unilocal and Wow a great pizza. First one I’ve ever had with green chilies, just plain delicious.

Be careful eating salad I ate at one of the Dion’s restaurants. And there was a piece of plastic in the salad which broke my tooth I contacted the manager of the restaurant! They ask if they could keep the piece of plastic that was in the my food which is part of the totes! that these totes are used to store vegetables and other things ! I asked Dions to pay for a dentist to fix my tooth ! They sent me to a dentist and they refused to fix my tooth! I will never eat at Dions again ! I encourage everybody to stay away! I know accidents happen and all I wanted was my tooth fixed! I did now sue them ! I went through a lot of pain ! If Dions would have fixed my tooth I would still be a coustomer but I will never eat there again!

The hubby was craving some Dions so we called an order into this location since we were headed this way. We normally frequent a different location. Overall it was a good experience at the Coors location. A few minor improvements would have gotten the 5th star. Food was hot and fresh. They did forget my extra marinara for my cheese toast though and that was disappointing. We got a Dions special, turkey sub, and cheese toast. Other than the sauce the order was correct. Upon calling in we were told 35 minutes for pick up. Much longer than usual at our other location by no biggie we just cruised around for a bit. We got to the location at 40 minutes and had to wait in line for a tad so we were at about 50 minutes from time of call in and we still had to wait for the order for about 5 more minutes. Slightly annoying but it was doable. Staff was friendly and personable. The girl at the window was very nice and asked how we were etc. Overall a good experience with some very minor flaws that are easily overlooked.

Lordy, do I crave the pizza from here. Not helping my waistline go down for sure, but my mouth is happy. I like getting the Tuscany without sundried tomatoes add chicken. Drool. The Duke City, Veggie Special are also great. Dipping pizza in their ranch is a must. Salads are standard. Orders have always been correct.

Oh Dions how I’ve missed you. No one does a slice of pepperoni with green chile like Dions. Super fresh salads, the best ranch dressing and tangy Greek dressing. This is a must stop for me when I’m in Albuquerque. YUM!

We stopped in here based on Unilocal reviews. The first impression led me to think lunch may not have been excellent but I was dead wrong. The food was excellent — we did two pizzas, and Italian sub and Greek salad. The salad was the family salad and it was a great value and with their house Greek dressing which is very tasty. Pizzas were good(bee had BBQ and a mixed veggie). The best part was the sub. Bread was super, meats tasty and the house dressing paired nicely. One of the best subs I have had in a long lolling time. Food was affordable and it came out fairly quick. This place is a counter order counter pick up kind of place so great for family but not a place if you want to be served.

Very nice place, very good pizza and very friendly service. They do hVe free refills on pop, but you have to wade to the counter. I was there on a Monday and there was no problem. But seeing how busy it was on a Monday, Friday night would be interesting. They do have a ramp so the kids can watch the pizza being made. Very neat. Next time I’m in the area, this will be a must stop.

I don’t normally write reviews but every so often I get such good service I’m inclined to do so. This is one of those situations. Extremely courteous, great service, and the food was awesome. They gave me a discount on my pizza and a free soft drink. What more could you ask for!

Dions at any Albuquerque location is amazing! Crew is fast, friendly, and CLeAN! My favorite is the turkey, cheddar sub with green chile. Order of garlic toast with cheese, classic! Never seen anything like and taste like it! Amazing– dions ranch one of a kind, I can almost drink it!

Called in a pizza order. I arrived 10 minutes earlier than they suggested and they told me it would be 9 more minutes before the pizza was done. About 10 minutes later they had my order and apologized for the«misunderstanding»…giving me two big cookies and a big brownie for my «inconvenience». I finally figured out what had happened… the cook had made the wrong sized pizza… I waited a few extra minutes for the correct size to be done. Not only did they give me extra treats… they gave me both pizzas for the price of one. Everything was over the top delicious and the wait was NOT that long. I felt smothered in kindness. the place was friendly and clean.

I usually have no problems here. Last night though, the salad was full of rotten lettuce wedges and the green chile topping was practically non-existant. I was not a happy camper:(
