Wow I know they are busy but holy hell this place is filthy. Disappointing experience.

From the time we land Albuquerque, my husband starts planning his first trip to Dion’s. Dion’s is our go-to place in Albuquerque. For my husband’s birthday, his family mailed him all the ingredients in a cooler– that’s how obsessed he is. I wish they had locations in Houston! The toppings are fresh and there’s a great variety. I love the green chile the best. The salads are always fresh– never any dry or wilted lettuce. They’ve never messed up an order. The drive thru is an added convenience.

They are mean. About 20 people got kicked out for no reason. They blamed cussing and throwing things on us!

Pizza. Enough said right there. Pizza in the mornings, pizza in the evenings, pizza in the afternoons. BUT while pizza is the best man made food on earth… pizza here is the pizza of champions once you add the green chile on the daily quest of a getting your green chile fix while in Albuquerque. If you get pizza here with green chile you are one step closer to being a pizza master of the universe. Chalk up this pizza on the list of one of green chile’s girlfriends as they they go hand and hand. Enough said right there. Pizza.

Even though I live on the westside, I still make occasional trips to this location just because their quality of food is consistent. I have always enjoyed the menu offerings and friendly prices at Dion’s. I also love the fact that they offer whole wheat bread and green chile. I had one bad experience here a year ago. I ordered online and my order was completely wrong when I took it home. I called to explain the issue and they promptly apologized and gave me a voucher for a free meal. I really appreciate that they value their customers. The only reason they do not get a perfect score is because this place is a teenager hangout practically every night of the week. It is kind of annoying and noisy. There is also very limited seating space because of this. Overall, Dion’s on Wyoming and Paseo, you rock!

The pizza is a must do every time I’m in town visiting extended family. The pepperoni and green chile pie is so simple yet awesome. Perfect crust with just the lightest char. Would love to have one of these local in southern AZ. So much better than the over marketed, under whelming corp chain offerings.

What? Dions? Sure. Great sandwiches. Pizza is good but they are a little stingy with the sauce on the pizza. Other than that, one of my faves! Wish they would bring back the cookies they sold before– those were the perfect end to a great meal!

I went to Dion’s and had another nostalgic meal in New Mexico. This meal was another favorite to do list. I had a 6 in pastrami and provolone. It was good. Chips always as a side and their dipping Greek sauce. I remember this stuff to be good. It may be super tangy to the point when my mouth is dryer then the desert it is surrounded by. But I enjoyed it. I liked it for nostalgia and maybe if they had it where I live Currently I would have that over let’s say— any other fast food restaurant. I didn’t have pizza which is the thing to get here. People say«it’s the best pizza in the world«in an Adam Sandler like voice. Which by the way, I hate Adam Sandler.

We had the Napoli pizza and it was pretty good. Really liked the cheese bread and loved the marinara sauce. Overall a good atmosphere and fun music. The pizza was a little greasy but it was still good. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s my favorite pizza place in ABQ so far. The meatball sub is really good too.

I called in my order — 2 slices of pizza with ham and chicken, side of ranch and sweet tea. Got my order, got back to my office and was ready to enjoy a quick lunch. The pizza, had very little to no sauce, no ham and a few pieces of chicken on each slice. I did call and got a refund — which will take a couple of days. The first person I talked to did not seem to care that I was upset about my order. The manager was friendly and polite. I am a HUGE Dions fan, but I must say I am not happy about my current experience.

Dion’s, a place where I will miss if I ever move out of the southwest U.S.A. Their pizzas are good with too much cheese for me, but their subs and salads are one of the most convenient delicious meals in my neighborhood. Service at this joint is non-existent since it is find your own seat and order at the counter kind of place, but the employees keeps this place pretty clean. We go here occasionally when none of us wants to cook and is not wanting to drive far for food. You can just call and pick up the meal from their drive thru pick ups. It is incredibly convenient and fast. One downside to this location is that during hte school semester as well as summers, week nights may get packed with La Cueva students and parents. But there is always a place to sit and eat. If not, you can always take it home and the food is just as fresh.

I am a fan of Dion’s. I like what they have to offer. Very yummy and fulfilling food. However, this particular location during school year, around 3 – 5 pm could become chaotic and loud with the kids running around like a madhouse. I know it is not their fault to have these wild, lacked of oxygen in the brain human beings running around their place. That is why i gave them 4 stars. We came here around 3:30 pm and I thought i was in a middle school cafeteria again… who here honestly wants to go through middle school again? Well on the bright side, I am glad those kids decided to come here and hang out rather than do stupid stuff or crack out there and get arrested. Food: spectacular as usual. I asked for 10 inch meat ball provolone sub and boy i tell you that thang was long, fresh, smelled good. Their meat balls were big, meaty and joocy. The wheat bread was so crunchy, each and every bite was better than the last. Well done Dion’s.

We’ve been coming here for years. Dions has always been a NM staple for as long as I can remember and I cannot say I have ever been disappointed. I’m glad my kids can enjoy Dions as much as I have. I’m still trying to figure out the secret to their delicious ranch dressing. Enjoy!

I been coming to this location for over ten years. Whenever I travel out of town my first stop in alb is always dions for green chile pineapple pizza. I crave and love the pizza. Best ranch ever! Walnut brownies bomb! Lemonade refreshing! Fruit cups inexpensive and include kiwi. This place deserves 5 stars, yesterday I ordered 3 nut brownies and they ran out so they gave me 3 free fruit cups great customer service! Bravo!

It’s easy to see why my friends who have moved out of state still pine for Dion’s. They have excellent subs(turkey and swiss on wheat with Greek dressing please) and specialty pizzas(the Kansas City, the Duke City) at a price that’s more than fair. All that being said, in my opinion the best way to enjoy this Dion’s is to-go. The dining area is regularly mobbed by the usual suspects of sports teams, high school groups, and birthday parties.

Dion’s is our favorite take-out restaurant. They are always consistent with providing delicious and fresh food. Their sandwiches are my family’s favorite! My only complaint is that 9 times out of 10, the chips you’re given are the crumbs at the bottom of the bag.

Great pizza, subs and salads. Always consistent — fresh, fast, and friendly. My personal favorites? Pizza is always a winner — nice, tasty crust, flavorful sauce, fresh toppings. However, I mostly order subs — the pastrami and provolone is my fav. It’s loaded. I’ve recently been enjoying the turkey and provolone on wheat(add the green chile). So tasty and a bit healthier for you. The salads are awesome, particularly the Greek — their Greek dressing is amazing! If you feel like being good, opt for the fresh fruit as your side item – always fresh and really tasty!

My coworkers with kids love Dion’s. I had never been here before, but after visiting, I see why those couples with kids would favor this place. Seeing the pies being tossed in front of you is a spectacle any child would love. Heck, even as an adult it’s fun to see the guy(or gal) expertly toss the dough in the air. Theatrical, you know? I was trying to figure out how to categorize this place. It has no wait staff, you pick your pies(or subs, or salads) up at the counter. No beer, no wine, just soft drinks. There’s a substantial take-out business, which makes sense, because the pizza is pretty good(quality dough). The ambiance inside is certainly youth-y. It’s not like an old-school Italian pizza parlor with Frank Sinatra playing over the speakers, instead, it’s more like a more color palate-neutral Pizza Hut with Katy Perry playing over the speakers. On that note, I don’t think anyone that works here is over the age of 25. The pizzas are good, as are the salads. Dressing comes in individual serving packs, but it’s still OK. Haven’t tried the subs, but everyone seems to love them. It seems like this place values quality ingredients.

Dions reminds me of high school quasi-innocence, the innocence you see with small family businesses when they, too, are young, but as I grew into what I consider & good human being, Dion slid into hanging around wit the«wrong crowd.» That is, the infamous corporate greed crowd – opened more stores, hiked up prices, decreased portion sizes & increased shitty service. Now all that’s left is a bad taste in my mouth both figuratively & literally. It’s sad to see what you’ve grown up to be Dion, but hey, at least you’re rich!
