Well… I was killing time at the mall and parted from my usual pedicure place. This place wasn’t anything special. I opted for the deluxe pedicure which included a scrub, some kind of gel lotion with a massage and paraffin wax. Let me tell you… I have had many many many pedicures in my life time and some have been interesting experiences… this one was one of those experiences. The gentleman conducting my pedicure appeared as if he was moving at lightning speed in everything he did. Even the massage. Lots of slapping and yanking my feet(I didn’t hate it). When he got to the smoothing of my heels part(insert open mouth shock), he brought out some kind of motorized sandpaper rotary something. He moved FAST! It didn’t hurt or tickle and it seemed to be doing the job better than any other method I have experienced… and fast. But… There was skin flying EVERYWHERE. FROMMYFEET. if someone had been sitting next to me, they would have been covered in by foot skin. Weird right? It was humorous at the time. I giggled inside. It was funny. Absurd really. Then I thought… what if I was the one sitting next to some stranger(not that a family members foot skin would be welcome) as their foot skin flew in my face… it was a bit horrifying. So no… This particular method is no good. Overall the pedicure was good. Nothing over the top special. Too fast for my liking. I prefer a relaxation and a nice calming foot massage. This was more like a race.
