Just about every time we get food here, we’re disappointed. There’s usually an item missing or the wrong kind of chicken. We like chicken strips. But last night, we got raw chicken strips. I’m talking dark-red-center raw. Unbelievable. My wife actually bit into one before she noticed it was severely undercooked. The management is isn’t the greatest, although they didn’t argue when we demanded a refund. I’m not sure if the guy was on crack or just meth, but he was strangely nervous and jittery. We’ve complained in the past to no avail. We shan’t order here again.

Yes. I know it’s a chain.(but i guess I did Unilocal a Costo). But I don’t really consider Church’s a chain because I’ve only ever had it in Albuquerque and it’s always a treat because you can’t get fried chicken this good where I come from. And yes, I live in Baltimore, where there are«N.Y. Fried Chicken’s» every other block, and the streets are littered with gnawed chicken bones. Doesn’t that sound so appealing? My dad is always the one who insists on Church’s whenever we go to Albuquerque. We visited this particular location twice in the span of a week. The staff are all really friendly and they have good deals. The skin is so crispy but not too heavily battered. Deep fried to perfection. yum. And if they’re out of spicy, just add some spicy sprinkle to each bite and you’re good to go! The closest Church’s to where I live is actually in Philly, so I probably won’t have it again for awhile. sadness.
