Churches chicken sells chicken and chicken side items and not much else. I most enjoy going into a restaurant and knowing what you would assume the place would have what your going in for.(she sells sea shells by the seashore) if I want chicken I’d go to a restaurant known for its chicken not it’s spaghetti.(U getting me here) the prices are fair, the customer service is usually good, food is always tasty, hot, juicy and if its not ready and you’re using the drive thru, they usually give you a complimentary drink while u wait in your car for your food. They usually have specials and also serve chicken tenders, jalapeño bombers, fries… everything you would expect to have a chicken restaurant to serve. Even though its Corp. I don’t mind occasionally going to Churches. It’s convenient good food.

Churches and Golden Pride are the two best places to get fried chicken in New Mexico, period. What I like about churches is that the oil used to fry the chicken stays in the frying pan. The chicken isn’t greasy and I don’t feel like my arteries are clogging with every bite. Being southern raised I’ve grew up eating a ton of soul food– which fried chicken is a part of– and I’ve eaten chicken mostly all over the country. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve eaten some fantastic fried chicken in other states but truth be told I always find myself coming back to churches time and time again. Great chicken, not greasy, great flavor.
