Eriq has been doing my hair for five years and I can say it’s changed my life from drab to Ab Fab. He took me from a jet black to a platinum blond and makes me feel so beautiful whenever I go in. I have multiple
Friends I’ve recommended to him and they all love his coloring magic. His makeup abilities are also stunning. He’s amazing.

Wanted to add that Eriq did hair and makeup for my wedding. He made my mother look like a glowing beauty, my matron of honor a super hottie, and I looked so amazing, I wanted to marry myself. He doesn’t want to make you look like someone else. He wants you to look as natural as possible… only much more awesome. I didn’t even know I HAD enough hair to work with and he did whatever magic he does and I was stunning. Seriously, I know what I look like and I’m not kidding myself about what’s in the mirror, but Eriq is my hair and makeup Jesus and I’m a client for life. And every time I’ve gone into the salon, the staff has always been so totally nice and fun. I like nice and fun. Go there. Feel pretty. Kiss yourself in the mirror.

I walked in looking like a crazed professor and the stylist was super helpful. After a short conversation she pulled out a strait razor and started chopping. Before I knew it, I had a great haircut and a product sample to take home. I recommend them (even-​though the are pricey), especially if you have a mad cowlick that apparently is hard to for most stylists to deal with, or if you are the type of person that walks tells stylists «I have no ide what I want but this is what I have done in the past.» oh yeah, the compliments by all of the staff on my way out were good, too. ;)

An okay salon but I felt like the stylist just couldn’t care less about doing my hair. They don’t listen and I ended up with hair much darker than I wanted. Also felt that because I wasn’t dressed up to the nines but was a student, they thought I shouldn’t be getting my hair done there.

Great Salon! Friendly people. I went in on Saturday for the first time for a haircut and color everything went great I loved it Al is the best!

I have been going to Chez D’or for three years now and I’ve never had a bad experience — just the opposite. The salon is very light, bright and fun. Rex colors my hair and Leah cuts it — they specialize and are the best. We have tried many different colors and cuts — each one is superb.
I drive over 100 miles roundtrip for their artistry — worth every penny of gas.

I recently went to Chez for highlights and had a great experience. They weren’t crowded, it was a nice, modern, clean facility, and my stylist, Leah, did a great job. The color came out exactly the way I wanted it, so I enjoy doing my hair every day:) I would definitely recommend!

When I moved to ABQ I had no idea where to go to get my haircut. Thank goodness a co-​worker pointed me in the right direction. I have never had a better haircut. The staff is so friendly, and not if the fake way that you usually get in salons. Ask for Denise to get an amazing massage. Or ask for Eriq for a fun haircut with a little bit of edge.

Chez D’Or is a fantastic salon! It looks like it would be in Glamour magazine. The owner Michelle is very friendly and the staff is amazing. Alberto has been doing my hair for 6 years and I have never been disapointed. He always has fresh ideas and new products (fun!) Denise is fabulous for any skin, make-​up or waxing needs. I think that all of the staff is very qualified. If you have just moved here or need a new stylist call them!
