First off, anywhere that can get me a quality steak for $ 11 dollars is automatically at four stars! My husband and I wanted to try something new in the areas and decided that cheddar a would be that places after seeing how easy it was to access off the freeway! On a Thursday night we were able to get a table for two immediately. Our server was very attentive from the start! We relieved out food in less than 10 mins and it was cooked to perfection! There was not one slip of fat on my streak!!! Pricing is very decent and affordable, especially for a cheapo college student like myself! Highly recommended!

I’ll make this short and sweet Jack Daniels salmon and a «pain killer» is exactly what the doctor ordered Weekends are busy(if a place is NOT busy on weekends then there is a problem) so either go early or late. Cheap eats & drinks are my favorite 3 words(next to unlimited bloody Marys)

Decided to give Cheddars another visit this evening with my nieces as they were craving the croissants. While the staff was very polite and friendly the food failed to fully deliver. The prices were a definite draw but not sure the food was worth the savings this night. We ordered an appetizer of spinach dip that came out quickly and was flavorful but did not standout vs others I have tried. Our entrée order took an abocer average amount of time to come out for a semi-busy time frame. When the food was brought out it was very fresh and hot. The blackened catfish I ordered was again flavorful but not something I’d come back for. Side dished of broccoli cheese casserole was the highlight of the meal. I’d give this restaurant another shot based on the staff and fun atmosphere.

Noisy, noisy, noisy. Couldn’t hear each other, couldn’t hear the waitress(when she showed up) and the food was just not great. We had the salmon which came to us cooked dry, ugh, and the New Orleans pasta which was just okay, sort of. We were not impressed with anything here.

First time. Wait time was 20 minutes, not bad. I had the fish tacos. Very good. But too much for one person. If you are looking to share, i think this dish would be perfect for two. The fish tacos each had two pieces of fish, you can cam have grilled or fried, i went fried with a chipotle mayo… It also came with a corn slaw and one side of preference. Mine was a loaded bake potato, which contained cheese and sour cream. I went with 9 other guests. most raved about the fried chicken. I took a few stars off due to a dish that had raw chicken. It was one with salad. She had to wait another 10 minutes for a new dish to eat. So I would check your food before taking a bite.

The Texas sweet tea is the best drink on the menu. It’s refreshing, nice and strong! Perfect compliment to any meal!

Only thing that was OKAY at most was the service. Food was terrible. I ordered the New Orleans pasta(I believe that’s what it was called), it’s basically a Cajun Alfredo sauce with chicken, sausage, and other ingredients. I eventually found out that the sauce in the pasta is basically Alfredo sauce and salsa mixed… Wasn’t a great experience either. Save your buck and avoid :) will not be coming back.

Cheddar’s is a «big box» chain but it has some really good qualities. The service for our visit was very attentive but not overly helpful. I was able to try the Key West Chicken and Shrimp which was a real stand out from your typical chain restaurant. It had a freshly grilled flavor on the chicken and the shrimp was cooked with a bit of skill. The flavor profile was not typical so it was highly enjoyable. My husband’s burger was also very good. Nothing dry or overly salty so it was another dinner winner. I’ve previously had the Honey Butter rolls; stay away! They will bring you in only to leave you wanting more.

Came last night for a birthday dinner. Always really liked this place since it came to Albuquerque. Strawberry swirl margarita, Texas tea, or pretty much and alcoholic beverage in a giant cup is a must! And the drinks are a very good price also. I always get onion rings and chicken tenders. A giant margarita and fried food is probably not the healthiest choices but you can also get a skinny margarita and the lemon chicken with a house a salad and you can’t go wrong their either. Also service is always fair, some waiters go above and beyond their and the location is perfect because you can go to the movies after.

Four stars because they are friendly, you get enough to eat on one plate to take some home or feed two, and the meals are reasonable priced. Wish they had one close to me in Arizona but the closest is a 40 mile trip Sequestered in Albuquerque on our way home. This place was just across the freeway and we had eaten at a Cheddars in Kentucky and liked it. We were seated quickly. I got a steak with two sides which they gave me a small salad instead of the sides my wife got a wrap which she took half back to the room, never to eat as we left early in the morning for home. The food and the service was good. Waiting for one to come closer to home.

Great place for dinner with friends, date night, etc. Cheddars has great prices to match their food! I always get the same thing when I come here, the chicken and waffles. I hate eating chicken off of the bone, so the tenders that come with the waffle are great! There’s more than enough chicken for the waffle and the portions overall are pretty heavy. The drinks are great as well, generous amount of alcohol, which is appreciated.

For a chain this place is pretty good. For the price of menu items you cannot go wrong. Entrees from 7.99 to 14.99 plus two sides is a good deal. Got the steak along with mac an cheese and corn. The steak was cooked to the correct temp and the mac and cheese was pretty good. Drinks are a reasonable price. Had a skinny margarita for $ 4.49. The desserts in shot glasses are quite good. Had the key lime pie shot glass. For the value and price this place is a good deal. Must also mention the server was very nice too. Fair warning it is best to go during the week because on weekends it is very packed.

Reliable meal and it’s open late. I’m a fan. Where cheese is concerned I’m usually turned off… the potato skins, queso dip, broccoli and cheese caserole… it’s all very thick… like you have to work at eating it, and the flavor is very bland. But the rest is very good. And portions are large

It took me a few visits to actually settle on writing a 4-star review — don’t get me wrong, we’ve always had a pretty good time bur for some reason I thought it was a fluke, I kept sort of waiting for it to be bad. After several more trips — I’m a fan! The location right off of I-25 is great! The wait for a table used to be very long but if your party is 4 or less, it isn’t too bad. The staff is friendly and our service has been for the most part great. The food is by far the best thing. The menu has a little bit of everything but doesn’t get too crazy and everything we’ve ordered is made very well. Nice portions and at a good price.

Cheddar’s is what it is. You get what you pay for, ya catch my drift? You pay a small price for a huge portion. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and was totally unimpressed by both that and the soup I had. They throw free bread and croissants at you to make up for it. It’s usually packed and service was slow. I won’t be back.

Finally got around to trying this place after hearing a lot of hype about how good it was. This is a rare occasion because my expectations from Unilocal reviews were not met after I ate here. Really affordable menu. Most items are under 10 dollars and they have great drink prices, which, by the way, is the only thing saving this review from being at the bottom of the fish tank. As far as food quality… meh. It’s alright I guess but not really what most people made it out to be. If you’re an Applebee’s or Chilis fan it might hit home. You would think that management would adequately staff this establishment to keep up with the the high volume of customers. It appears that wasn’t the case. Service took forever and food was very slow to arrive. The kids portions were really small and cost 5 dollars, which I thought was expensive for the size. The adult plates were large but were mediocre at best. Place was really clean though and did have a nice interior design. I probably will not be dropping anymore of my cheddar at Cheddars.

I feel like this ranking is largely to do with its price for the amount/quality of food you get. Is it the best, most flavorful delicious food I have ever had? No. But for a tasty alcoholic bev, an appetizer, a salad and two meals all under $ 35… well, that’s worth the stars! This is a similar pricing to Denny’s but with a much better feel to the atmosphere, better selections, a BAR, and just better quality all around. I started off with a Cheddar’s Painkiller(they limit two per guest), and it came in a nice big glass that made you feel kinda classy. It had a tasty coconut sugary rim with a pineapple garnish. You could taste the booze. It wasn’t like one of those super fluffy sweet drinks where you wonder if your rum got replaced with grenadine or something. For the price of this thing, I was extremely impressed! A nice start to my Cheddar’s introduction, indeed. I also ordered the Texas Cheese fries as a table appetizer, and a side salad with… you guessed it!, Cheddar! Both of these were terrific portions for the price, and the ranch was super yummy. Great consistency for both salad or dipping, nice light spice and flavor, and just all around a perfect addition to the beginning of my meal experience. The fries were a thicker cut, fried to just the right amount you would expect, and loaded with melted cheese and bacon. I would have liked some jalapenos or green chile added, but the way it came was just fine too. The salad was your typical enjoyable salad for a damn good price, and isn’t that really all you ever ask for from a salad out of a place like this? They also paired it with a really soft fluffy honey butter croissant. OMG. That thing went fast! …alright I’m thinking, so far, so good. I ordered the Monte Cristo because my fellow Unilocalers had some nice things to say about it. I was NOT disappointed. It was super rich and I could barely get through two of the four triangular shaped pieces. That may have also had something to do with my pre-meal pig-out, but still. With the richness came amazing flavor, gooey cheeses and wonderful lunch meat, and a dough you could really sink your teeth into. Soft, lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar, and served with a nice raspberry preserve dip to sweeten it up. I ordered mac and cheese as my side, and again, nothing OUTLANDISHLYDELISH, but still very tasty and creamy and above par for most diner mac and cheeses. At this point, some of you may be wondering where I stored all of this dairy? So did I. Probably why I opted out of their handmade chocolate cake with ice cream. ;) I also got to try the Chicken Fried Steak, and truth be told, I am not a huge fan of it to begin with, but I decided to give it a taste anyways. The gravy was that thick country style, with a nice creaminess, but could have had a bit more flavor or spice to it in my opinion. The chicken fried steak itself was tender with a light coat of deep fried breading. Honestly, it was good. After all said and done, I was impressed. I will definitely be returning to try out some other options. If nothing else, to pre-game before bowling with some sweet cutesy drinks(all were under $ 5 I believe). I heard good things about the pasta from the server, so maybe I’ll venture out and see if they can nail lasagna. Granted they go on a wait during certain times, but it was super easy to get in around 8:30. Stop on by and give Cheesey’s a try. :P

This was my first visit here and came a little early. I had great service and a great meal all for a reasonable price. I started off with a cocktail, a painkiller. I ordered the grilled talapia with shrimp and mango salsa. The fish was cooked perfectly, flakey and juicy, and the shrimp, black beans, rice and broccoli were delicious and seasoned justv right! This meal was just enough food but not too much and oh so tasty! I will definitely come back!
