Crazy Combo if you ask me. I have yet to try the Greek food but I am a pretty tough critic when it comes to Mexican food. Not too shabby. The quality of meat is pretty good, tasty too. But when I ordered the 2 carne asada tacos, I expected some beans, rice maybe for the price. Chips? Something. NOPE. 2 tacos for $ 7 bucks. I am the type or person who honestly doesn’t pay too much attention to price of food.(Not because I roll in money, the exact opposite actually!) But I don’t mind spending money on a good meal. I love to eat! But when a few mediocre tacos, 1 order of 3 tiny taquitos and a bean burrito are $ 37 dollars… Yeaaaaah, I’ll pass. To think I could have gone and 2 for $ 20’d it somewhere makes no sense to me that I spent that at Cesar’s. Oh man, not to mention the hilarious dude working at the register. Nice guy but he refused to assist you unless you ordered specifically by number.(the combo numbers go up to like 77 or something crazy!) He practically yells at you when you first approach to ORDERBYNUMBERONLYYYY! That’s okay though, it just made me crack up. Maybe I’ll visit some other time again but I think it may be a while, I don’t usually crave an $ 8 burrito.

One of our group is Greek and we saw the sign while driving around town. We went in for a later breakfast(8 am?) and no one was there. The doors were open, but there were no cars, no customers, and no one behind the counter. We asked if anyone was there, but no one came out. We were sad, since there was greek music playing. We left and went to Weck’s across the street.

Food is ok but overpriced. Some menu items are much better than others. 24 hours is nice but don’t count on feeling good after eating here

I’ve tried this place about 4 times now… always dissatisfied. I tried the«mexican» this time. It was, unfortunately terrible. My tostda was stale and the beans were burnt. My chicken taco was thrown together and soggy. The. chicken had that awful boiled taste. The asada taco was made. with cheap beef… I. rather go to taco bell. The service seems acted out and scripted… might be because of the fact they have the owner watching everything they do. It wouldn’t have been such a disapoinment if I got quality food for the price I paid… like I said I rather go to taco bell… I love supporting local places… I have to say I will not be returning.

Why does this place only have 3 stars? I LOVETHISPLACE! This has been a staple for my family and I whenever we want a great burrito. I have never stepped foot inside the building so I really can’t tell you what the atmosphere is like inside. The two items I highly recommend are either the #53(bacon breakfast burrito) or #16(carna asada burrito). Don’t let the 3 stars scare you. Come and try this place for yourself.

You know that late night after a few too many; your friend is being sweet enough to drive your silly butt home, but you just NEED that drunken binge? That is about all this place is good for in my opinion. And even then; I’ve had a couple of bad experiences. In general, I’ll get some kind of burrito or a couple of tacos, possibly the Greek Special with chicken skewers, rice and a greek salad. I’m never thrilled but usually not super disappointed either. It hits the spot — for whatever hazy spot you’re in. Well, this two stars is based on the fact that it has generalllllly been alright. As far as the owner of the place goes, I should give it a zero. In fact, I have completely vowed to never return solely because he was the worst(and rude) customer service handling individual I have ever dealt with. I ordered a couple of burritos for friends who were at my house, two Greek specials, and an additional side Greek salad. Sadly, neither of the burritos were the meats chosen, one of the Greek specials did not have the salad included, and the other one was missing the pita. Come ON! That’s a lot messed up in one order. Unfortunately, my friend was driving us back to my pad, and we didn’t realize until we were already home. I took pictures of the food, kept the receipt, and the next day returned to share the experience with the manager/owner/whatever. The employees kept me waiting for a good ten minutes before I was in touch with him, and then they passed me a wireless phone. I explained the situation; he said«well where is the food?» I said we threw most of it away. Some things that we could eat, we ate. But my friends with the wrong burritos were really disappointed, and the missing pita was kind of crucial! I told him I had photos of the food and the receipt to show what I had ordered. He said, without the food he wasn’t going to do anything. Um, excuse me? I am not asking for a full refund. But after we spent over 40 bucks here, I am pretty sure you could do SOMETHING to earn back our business. Nope. In fact, he just got mean and rude and said, we have cameras, it’s probably not even what you ordered. I told him I was calling the Better Business Bureau but I didn’t… I guess I still should. I mean, whatever happened to customer service, man? I’m not going to bring back a bunch of old half eaten boxes of crud to prove my point. I have pictures and a receipt. You make enough money to show some kind of loyalty to your customer. Anyways, end of this rant. There’s my take on the place. I would have definitely gone back if I had been treated with a little more respect. Even an apology for the mistake would have sufficed.

Yet another price increase(which I am ok with) and yet again less of what you get. If you raise prices to cover rising costs, cool but don’t skimp on the quantity. You have lost me as a customer.

8 $ for a carne asada burrito is ridiculous, and they charge an extra dollar if you want cheese on it! And charge you if you want extra sauce! They only give you one for a pretty big burrito.

They are lucky I was starving and had a teenage boy with me who can eat anything. Ordered the falafel and fries for me, two gyros and fries for the rest of the family. My cup of water costed 25 cents lol. Charged me over a dollar for tahini sauce which didn’t taste like much but the falafel sandwich was so dry I needed something. The fries were too salty and greasy so I didn’t eat them. The pita was good. The falafel was dry and basic for the price. The service was rude, when a worker asked me how my day was I said good. Then I asked him and he said, «eh, could be better.» Then charged me incorrectly. I felt unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer. The place has an errie seedy vibe. I was curious and tried it, but recommend Olympia, Yannis, Pars, Gyros, or my favorite the Greek Festival instead. My son ate our fries. I got a brick in my stomach from the dry falafel.

A very odd place. This I not a bad thing… Just odd. I felt like I was in an episode of the twilight zone… You are now moving into a dimension of taste and substance, sight and smell, where Greek meets Mexican food? Next stop the twilight zone! Aka Cesar’s! I would say the establishment is not very up to date but they use this to aid in their quirkiness. The Mexican menu is huge with many options, only to find out the Greek menu is right below with an equal amount of options. I was disappointed with the prices, expecting them to be a little cheaper, $ 10 and up for some items. Most of the food can be found cheaper at a more authentic Greek or Mexican restaurant. However I did find one cheap item– huevos rancheros burrito– only $ 3: fried eggs beans and pico… But no papas? Come on man. The cashier was not very friendly, seemed like the owner or manager. He was not in a happy mood telling the other cashier«vete Ya!» In a harsh tone– meaning go away or go over there… Poor guy. All in all I was not super impressed with my food or my friends falafel. With that being said I might give it another chance. To be continued…

An odd but awesome combination of Greek and Mexican food. The food is good, but not the best of either Greek or Mexican in the city. On the up side, the portions are plentiful and they are open 24/7, which makes this a solid bet for late night food fix. Sort of run down inside, but clean. Most people seem to drive through. Call your order in ahead for faster service, but even pulling up is plenty fast. An ABQ institution.

Cesar’s is a uniquely Albuquerque place — and by that I mean it’s just like Albuquerque: in some ways deeply, incredibly awesome, yet with spots of disappointment, and while you don’t always find what you want, you always want to come back to try again, and when it’s good — it’s the best. The best thing on the menu is the chicken kabob. Seriously delicious, every single time. I have never been disappointed by the luscious, spicy, tangy yummyness. I often stray and try something new, but I never fail to go back to the kabob. The dolmades are quite good, the pita as well. Their tzatziki strays a little far afield of the real thing, but is nice and tangy. I’ve yet to order a Greek Item I haven’t loved. The Mexican — not so much. Except the churros — awesome! I heard the guys talking tonight while we waited for our food. Some customer asked if the baklava(if I heard correctly) was homemade. The guy said, no — but it’s still delicious so what difference does it make. I’d say that about sums it up. I don’t go to Cesar’s expecting hand-formed tortillas — I want good food at any hour. They deliver. Yes, they can be rude — so what? It’s not like it’s a sit-down, fancy restaurant. Order your food, pay them and go home to eat. Rudeness overcome. Plus — then you get to eat their food! Here’s the thing — they are open 24/7, they make good food, it’s cheap, and you can pick and choose from the menu to get exactly what you want. It’s amazing and wonderful, and I LOVE it!!!

We’ll never come back here again! $ 17.25 for one falafel and one gyro! Way basic tasting and nothing to write home about. They got us because it was 2am and nothing else was open. The other reviews must be from relatives or employees. Take our word for it!

Never again. Horrible service– The employee taking orders was horrible. No hello, no thank you, had no answers for any questions, no smile, ect. The menu says it has fresh guacamole, but it looks browned. Fresh guacamole is not brown. It’s not hard to make guac and make it quickly, but apparently, they cannot be bothered. If the food is not fresh, don’t serve it. Chips are nothing special. This has to be one the saddest excuses for Greek food I have ever had. Pita Pit has better pitas. The beans on the Mexican side taste canned and salty. The burritos look like someone just threw all the ingredients together and served them. The pictures on their website are nothing like what they do in reality. No thought, no taste, just salt and grease. I don’t know why people like this place. I thought it would be good. I am not a picky person. Just stay away. If you want good, cheap Greek, go to Gyros behind the Frontier. If you want cheap Mexican, go to Taco Cabana. The one good thing: Horchata.

This is my second time at this place, and this time will be my last time dining here. The food here is pretty gross. I ordered a taco and enchilada plate, and the taco was filled with hard inedible beef dripping with grease! The enchilada was hard and that chile was not at all New Mexico chile! The beans and rice were decent, but that was it! The chicken nachos were also drenched in grease! Their nachos consist of super greasy chicken with shredded cheese, too much guacamole, and way too much sour cream which totally make the chips soggy and gross. The worst part of all of this was that it was pretty pricey for food that come in a Styrofoam box! Also they charge for water and ice so be prepared!

Used to eat here WAY back in the day. Have then a shot again– price is high for quality. I ordered the chicken kabob. The salad was pretty good, dressing was good amount and feta was flavorful– didn’t taste like it had been left out or was old. Chicken was juicy and seasoned very well. Nice sear on the outer with good color on inside. Rice needs some work– tatted oddly familiar to easy rice like Rice-a-roni. Very salty. Pita bread as well needs work. Not to fluffy and was slightly hard, almost like it was over cooked and left out over night.
