The classes and the instructors are fine, but the owner is awful. She was really offended that I only wanted to take one specific instructors class, and she’s not only unfriendly and unprofessional, she’s catty and speaks poorly of her employees. The workout space itself is poorly designed, there’s only one bathroom and it’s RIGHTIN the room you’re doing class in. There are no showers, but yet the price of a membership is comparable to full amenity gyms and studios.

Go get your quiver on! Best full-body workout I’ve had in a long time. A little bit on the pricey side compare to other place, but well worth the money. The girls get you know you and are very encouraging. Its like going to the gym with your lady friends. They usually have a groupon or living social deal for new people to come check it out, so be on the lookout or call to make a free 1st class. They recently opened a new location so now you have 2 locations to choose from.

This place is the best, Val & her Team of very well educated ‘body language’ experts really go out of their way to help you reach your goals! I must admit that I have not been here in a minute due to scheduling conflicts, but always in the back of my mind plan on revisiting. The spin classes are most challenging & I would highly advise doing a fit-test beforehand so that you know your limits! Woody(owner) is an expert with this. Not only is he super patient but he has a Zen aura that makes you feel as though you’ve known him your whole life! Rarely, if ever, was I a lactic-acid-sore-muscle-sufferer on post-day exercise… thanks to that fit-test which guides you on your heart rate max & guides you to not exceed VO2 max! They’ve a small operation as well, which really makes you feel a part of their family! Val is literally a wealth of information, I absolutely love it when I catch her for a quick(or not-so-quick) chat! ****These folks have(2) locations! Menaul/Carlisle and one off San Antonio

BodyLanguage is amazing! I’ve been going on and off for over 2 years and I love it! Being a workout-at-home type gal, and anti-gym, BodyLanguage was the first place I ever took any kind of fitness class. The classes are unique and intense and I especially enjoy Cathy’s classes(but all the ladies are great!). All of the instructors will help you maintain the correct form, and encourage you throughout the tough parts of the workout. You will feel the burn in all the right places! Be prepared to work your muscles until you shake and«quiver»! You’ll feel the soreness the next day(or two!) but its actually a great feeling! I was addicted after my first class, which was free! BodyLanguage can be a little pricey($ 100 for a month of unlimited classes or $ 150 for a 10 class series), but its totally worth it and luckily they have had Living Social and Groupon deals here and there. I’ve taken a few months off, and I’m ready to get back to the«Barre»!
