I’m not too sure why it’s taken me so long to write a review on this coffee! I can’t say that I’ve tried an abundance of coffee in my life, but I do know GREAT quality coffee when I try it, and that’s what happened the first time I had Blunt Bros coffee! By far the best coffee I’ve EVER had, and I haven’t been able to come across anything as remotely good as the mixtures that Dave has put together! Cheers to coffee that showcases amazing quality in all aspects!

Good coffee. But a fortune. Only to go at Blunt Bros. When they say hot they mean hot. Basically Starbucks without WiFi and without nice seating. Go to Starbucks.

This is my favorite place to go to grab coffee before work. Unlike most local shops, they are open early and have a drive thru! Usually you have to go to Starbucks if you want coffee to go before work, but I am so happy to have this local option in my neighborhood. The coffee is delicious, but the only draw back is sometimes the baristas don’t listen super well and there have been a few times that my drink has been made wrong. I will overlook human error, but if you’re absolutely OCD about your coffee being a certain way, you may want to steer clear. Other than that tiny hiccup, this is my favorite coffee shop in town!

By far the BEST coffee in Albuquerque and truthfully probably New Mexico!!!’ They roast their own coffee beans and it shows in every cup. We have been fans for months and now they offer Frozen Custard with a shot of espresso– what more can you ask for!!! Beware when you taste their straight up coffee you will be hooked and nothing else will compare.

my new favorite coffee place… I DROVETHROUGH two days in a row for the addicting iced«Cory’s Coo-Coo Nut Mocha»(espresso, ghiradelli chocolate, macadamia, coconut, milk). love the eco-friendly cups, great service, local biz vibe, delicious coffee, and the fact that they are the only place to get drive through espresso that’s not Starbucks(in my hood). I’ll be back to try and fill up my punch card!

Drive-thru coffee shop that has a pretty nice selection of tea drinks. I like it because it’s local! You gotta love local but my drink was only a-ok. I had the Navajo Fog. I think I’ll try another tea option and then give the coffee(not much of a coffee drinker) side a whirl. The reviews seem to praise that option a bit more. I will say that the biscotti was pretty dang good. It was a nice hearty(& long) piece with no chocolate covering — I don’t like chocolate on my biscotti. Weird but true. Just pure flavor($ 2 a piece). I’ll have to edit my review once I get some more options a try.

I’m usually pretty happy with my drinks from Blunt Bros with the exception of the special teas. I’ve ordered their specialty Irish tea, and 2 London Fogs. All 3 were weak, even when I asked them to leave the tea bag in the London Fog the second time I ordered it. I don’t think they use enough Earl Grey tea. They only use 1 bag when they should be using at least two tea bags for a medium London Fog. I have also had their Café Mocha’s, and Hot Chocolate. Those are pretty amazing. Especially the hot chocolate. However when I went yesterday I ordered 2 medium hot chocolates. There were about 5 cars behind me so I didn’t check my drinks before leaving. BIG mistake. When I got to my friends house, about 10 mins away I finally had the chance to check my drinks. One was missing 3 inches of hot chocolate, and the other was missing about an inch. What a disappointment. I don’t care how busy they are. From now on I will be checking my drinks before pulling away from the window. $ 3.50+ is not cheap when it comes to a hot drink, and I don’t plan on spending that kind of money on drinks just to be disappointed with it. Since they are a local business I want to support them, but if I keep getting drinks like the hot chocolate I got yesterday I will go back to Star Bucks.

The hours have become inconsistent so unfortunately I don’t go here anymore. ¾ the time I pull into the drive through at what used to be normal hours(morning or evening) and they’re closed. It just pisses me off and slows me down on my way to work. I also started to realize that the prices are a little ridiculous… almost 4 $ for a large cup of black coffee. I’m all about supporting local business and the neighborhood, but I probably won’t be doing it here.

These folks do seem to be making an effort however… Its drive thru only. Yeah, so enjoying a piping hot beverage in your car is the only option. Next up their menu is written in magic marker, and very hard to read if your eyes aren’t great. When I went to order, it was a bit stressful and confusing, for a Combat PTSD veteran, I was looking to sit and have a cup, with time to read a new menu. Namely escape the insanity of the morning commute, with my old friend Joe. No such luck, snarky people at the window, and extremely snarky on the internet in response to a much kinder review. This really seems like a young hipster spot, considering its pot themed, drive thru with a big helping of attitude across the street from a high school for kids who cant cut it in real school. What can one really expect from low hanging fruit?

Poor service, no where to sit, no bike parking and they don’t serve any food. I was shocked that they did not have a single price of food for sale. I find it extremely negligent for a breakfast coffee shop not to serve muffins or scones at the least. Drinks were over priced. There is no place to park a bike. There is no place to sit inside or out no benches, nothing. The whole name is a gimmick, just to appeal to marihuana smokers. This building should have stayed abandoned.

I have to admit, I was disappointed and more than a tad embarrassed when I stepped out of the car, slung my laptop bag around my shoulder, and walked up to the drive-thru window on this cold winter day only to discover that there wasn’t anywhere to sit. So I’m standing there, you know, shivering, watching very comfortable people sitting happily in their vehicles, waiting for coffee, feeling a little ridiculous. The coffee more than warmed me up, though. There isn’t a lot to say about the place, aside from their kinda clever stoner java titles and the fact that, assuming the owners are stoners, they brew up an exceptionally bright-eyed cuppa joe. The Master Macchiato that met my cold wet tongue had more substance and dimension than the Wizard of Oz set to Dark Side of the Moon, it was complex, very roasty(my preference, for sure) and the caramel/Ghirardelli chocolate combo was terrific, not too heavy at all. It reminded me a lot of Espresso Fino, downtown, which is honestly delivering the best java anywhere. Based on one visit, I’d say Blunt Bros is a close second. Oh, and kudos to y’all Blunt folk for slinging these beans in Gallup, too. You get five stars for that alone.

This is a good little coffee spot. There isn’t a place to sit but that worked out. They do use the double cup method to prevent hot hands but they offer $.10 discount if you bring the cup back which the only reasonable use of using two cups. Six bucks for two medium Americanos with great crema. Very enjoyable stop.

Organic fair trade beans with Eco-friendly cups. Plus they have loyalty stamp cards and a 10 cent credit if your bring your extra cup from a previous beverage.(They double cup hot beverages instead of using sleeves.) Aside from the«green-ness» of the business the coffee/espresso is above average and enjoyable. Sometimes with a slightly over roasted flavor IMO, but still beats Sbux. Add in a friendly face and a location on my route to work and I’m sure I’ll be stopping more often.

If people understood the amount of caffeine I need on a daily basis I think they would be in awe that I am not dead, but also understand my strict standards for a cup of joe. Blunt Bro’s coffee seems to be a place I can get behind. Now, I do think this location has big shoes to fill, first with La Hacienda, and second with Piggys(RIPTOBOTH), but I have high hopes in them finding a great customer base, and being a great addition to the neighborhood. First and foremost, they have a drive-thru. I usually need some coffee on my way to work, during my lunch, on my way home from the store, or just any time of the day I feel like I’m going die of fatigue. I will often times drive out of my way to the nearest S-bux with a drive-thru just to avoid human interaction, yes folks, I am that person. Secondly, they have a great sized menu. Not too big, not too small, and they even have smoothies for you health conscious freakazoids out there! They have a coconut, macadamia nut, ghirardelli chocolate coffee, COMEONFOLKSGETONTHISTRAIN! Not only is the coffee delicious, but the baristas/cashier people are super freaking sweet. They even halfway laugh at my jokes! My all time favorite part about Blunt Bros is not the great coffee, lovely people being boss, but the fact that they have dog freaking treats! Hello, I never even thought about Max needing a pick-me-up halfway through his busy life!
