Blake’s Lotaburger

not sure why they have so many in this town. I have had their breakfast burritos and they are ok, tried their hamburgers today, Lottaburger double, when I got back to the office and opened the wrapper I watched the grease and juice pour out. The patties are thin enough it should be easy to cook them all the way through, not so much, the outer part was cooked but the middle of both were to pink to eat. The bottom of the bun was completely soggy. If you want a burger definitely go somewhere else. The seasoned fries were good hence the 1 rating

We’re aware the Blake’s Lotaburger is a local icon in New Mexico, but frankly it’s only slightly better than McDonalds and at par with Whataburger. While the staff is friendly and nice, this location wasn’t clean at lunch time. All but two of the tables were empty, but a bunch of them had ketchup smeared on them, pieces of fries sitting on the chairs and the area by the soda machine was stained with soda that looked like it’d be sitting there for hours.
The food, it’s what we expected, fast food. Our burgers tasted like frozen patties, although the green chili on it was good. The bacon seemed microwaved. It’s simple. If you like and eat fast food often, you’ll love this place. You can get a combo for cheap. If you’re used to eating fresh, hand padded beef don’t walk through these doors.

Very plain burgers and fries, nothing amazing going on here. Burgers are semi overcooked, too much mustard. The price is reasonable but it is just descent at best.

I love this place. They never cheat you on condiments or toppings. It’s made fresh and just plain delicious. Both breakfast and the lunch/​dinner menu are great.

Very good breakfast burrito and twice the size of the ones you get at Golden Pride.

Lotaburger has been around for decades with many locations in ABQ. This review could be for any of them. The burgers are great because they are cooked fresh after you order them so there will be a short wait for your order to be prepared. I always add green chile. I picked this location because I need a green chile fix whenever I fly into town and this location is near the airport. After getting my rental car I drive here for for my fix. The heat of the green chile varies from year to year. This year (2013) it was very hot.
