The owner Joel is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time! He gave me a great deal and fixed my zipper on my luggage and was so helpful and kind! I recommend ABQ luggage & zipper repair for all of your repair needs!

I can only echo the other 5 star reviews. I took a leather Coach purse to Joel (based on the reviews), b/​c the shoulder strap was coming apart on one side. He did one better & insisted on redoing both sides, so one side wouldn’t end up stronger than the other. He did both sides for the same price as he was going to charge for one side! He did a high quality job, & his customer service is unbeatable.

Took my 35+ yr old canvas Hillary tent in to Joel (the owner) to be repaired, zipper has been very touchy for years now. This was perhaps a tuesday and I wanted it by thurs as had a trip/​outing on friday with the tent– Received a phone call thurs afternoon saying it was all done. Showed up and he walked me through what exactly he had done, even saved the old pieces he had replaced to show me the difference between the old worn items and the new ones he replaced. Love when someone will take the time to do that, really helps see the workmanship and the value– speaking of which, a very reasonable price for my time demands/​needs and the amount of work he had to put into it… oh, did I mention the new zipper works PERFECTLY. Love finding businesses like this, already thinking of other old items that can use his magic touch, thanks Joel, it was a pleasure doing business with you!

Truly wonderful small business owner. A must to support! Makes ABQ proud. My L.L. Bean suitcase had flat spots on the wheels so you always know when I’m coming a mile away. Joel weighed the expensive repair that would have cost more than the bag itself, to a quick fix I could do myself. So I just gently filed the edges so it is not so much of a sharp clunk. Don’t worry, I have lots more repairs needed that I know I can’t do myself. See you there soon!

I looked on Google for a zipper repair place in Albuquerque. ABQ Luggage & Zipper Repair Experts came up. I grabbed my item and drove over. Joel (the owner) was awesome! He wasn’t even officially open when I went by, but he let me bring in my super large (over eight feet) broken zippered item. He not only repaired my giant Bean Bag Cover zipper, he made the existing zipper more secure. To top it off… he got it done the same day! I was so impressed and really happy to have our item fixed within hours. His price was so reasonable, I insisted on paying him more for his time. I recommend his repair shop! I’d give ten stars if it were available.

Great service. They fixed my broken zipper that’s been jammed for a year and then wouldn’t charge me because it was nt difficult for him. I. Would have gladly handed over $$- coach charges a fortune for zipper replacement. He wouldn’t be bothered. This guy is great– really knows his stuff.

If you don’t take you bag here you are wasting your time. The zipper on my luggage is fixed and the service was great!!!
