This little fountain is a great spot to stop for a break from studies, enjoy a coffee or your lunch, or just sit and contemplate the nature of life and remember loved ones past. The fountain was dedicated to Mother Earth in January, 1992 as a tribute to the sculptor’s grandmother. The fountain has twelve obelisks surrounding it, each with different carvings, presumably representing each month of the year. If you’re visiting the nearby Duck Pond or Center of the Universe, drop by and sit for a few minutes on the nearby benches or the concrete ring surrounding the fountain, enjoy the sound of the water falling in the fountain and remember someone special in your life that is no longer with us.
