Love’s Travel Stop in Albert Lea has been a stop on many a trip to Twin Cities. Wether its because of a snow storm, or I need gas, or I just need to stop to go to the bathroom! This Love’s is always clean, and the staff is always nice! The coffee is pretty good and they got snacks galore! It’s huge and they dont care if you wait out a snow storm there! Not to shabby!

I always end up stopping here to grab a bite to eat at Wendy’s. It’s the nearest Wendy’s just north of the border on I-​35. Sure, you can stop by the Trails Travel Stop next door with McD’s. However, I usually favor the salads at Wendy’s. Not a bad truck stop. It serves it’s purpose and has fast/​quick service. Plus, you can gas up and head back on the road:) If you want a nicer convenience store, then head over to the Trails Travel Stop next door.
