I highly recommend this merchant. This store (located behind an auto body repair shop) is a superb resource for home brewers and wine makers in southeast MN. They stock a nice selection of beer and wine kits, and the misc. equipment that you’ll need to make them, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You’ll be hard pressed to find better prices anywhere — online our otherwise. As in all hobbies (okay, obsessions) there is probably be something that you eventually will want that won’t be there, but the basics are well covered. Advanced brewers may have difficulty finding the precise grain/​hop/​yeast combinations for crafting specific beer recipes, but planning ahead should alleviate that problem as the shop is generally happy to order whatever you need. The staff are pleasant helpful, and reasonably knowledgeable about basic brewing/​wine making. Beyond that you’ll have to do some homework and come armed with (a thirst for — couldn’t resist) knowledge.
