Spent 2 years living on the 3^rd quiet floor, with huge living room windows, it was great. Then… we had problems when a smoker moved in to the 1^st floor and was smoking inside, and it was coming out through our vent in the kitchen. They replaced our vent but it still came through. 2^nd, they found my 10lb dog to be vicious, only because he barked when people came to close to me. The lady downstairs started CONSTANTLY complaining every time my dog barked when there was a loud noise, and repeatedly banged on the ceiling. She got us kicked out.
She also got the person across form her kicked out because they always let their cat out. I’m sorry, but if you moved where they allow animals, you better consider your options if you hate them. Also, I don’t see why you ended up getting rid of 2 tenants, and not that one annoying lady who constantly complained about pets, and kept her blinds closed ²⁴⁄₇ and never left her apartment.
Out of the whole complex we only managed to find 2 friendly people. The others wouldn’t even smile at you. One of them even started yelling at my boyfriend because she claimed he didn’t pick up after our dog, which we did ALL THE TIME. The office ladies are also really snobby and will not help you in any way, even when we offered to get rid of our dog (which of course we wouldn’t have done) but not even that. Especially if you’re in your 20’s or younger, apparently we don’t know our rights and we’re dumb.
Also was not notified (which they claimed they left a voice mail but did not, also no missed call) about having to vacate the property when that hurricane hit because it was flooded. My car was also almost under water because of this, and they were going to tow it.
There was also a break-​in in one of the buildings. Although you have to get passed a security door to enter. All in all, this was a nice place with nice grounds and I loved the huge living room windows. But bad staff and snobby people will ruin it for you.
