Seriously best Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. It’s not super greasy like the other ones and it’s very clean! Definitely my favorite Taco Bell. Plus the staff are super friendly. (:

WORST TACO BELL EVER! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING!!!
My boyfriend came here last night to get dinner and got FOOD POISONING! There must either be mishandling of the food or ingredients that have gone bad and still served to the customers.
Taco bell was the only thing he had eating all day so there is no doubt that is where he got the poisoning. He has had diahrrea and vomitting the entire night and had not had sleep for the last 36 hours. He is so weak and not been able to eat.
You can be sure that We will never be coming back to this Taco Bell again and we would advise others to stay away as well unless you want to get food poisoning as well!

THey can get VERY slow in the drivethrough at night but over all a VERY CLEAN Taco Bell, nice and quite, with good employees.

Natalya!!! You are by far the most pleasant, friendly, up beat person I’ve ever come across in a customer service environment. I was tired at the end of my day and didn’t want to cook. I decided Taco Bell would be the best way to go. I’ve been going to the Albany bell for years and all of the employees have seemed displeased with their job at best. You are a gem Natalya! If I had my own business I’d hire you in a heartbeat because you shine and the way you multitask assures me you’d be good at any job you do! Thank you!!!

In the evenings, this location is unacceptably slow. I’ve come here a few times after leaving work and giving up on making dinner. But now I’d rather go hungry than wait 30 minutes for a burrito and Baja Blast.
However, If you come in the morning, the guy that’s usually working is at typical speed and friendly, too.
tl;dr — never come here after 12:00PM.

Once again the unpleasant experience with drive thru today ⁹⁄₂₇^th around 9:45,50ish pm. It took me 25 to 30 min to get my food and go. There were only 2,3 cars in front of me.

They seemed to have stepped up their game, as far as the drive through wait time. The food is Taco Bell decent, cheap, and kinda all tastes the same. I took off a star because when I got up to the pay window, I was informed there was no rice for my bean, rice and cheese burrito.

Come here during my lunch every once in a while and the past 4 times I have waited for over 15 mins in the drive thru with only a couple people ahead of me. And the passed 2 they have messed up my order either by giving me cap’n crunch delights instead of regular cinnabun delights or only giving me one bag of nachos but 2 cheese when i have ordered 2 order of nachos. Little mistakes happen but it shouldnt take this long in a drive thru or happen this often. And dont think going in to order will speed up the process because it will take twice as long with no one ahead of you because they focus drive thru customers which is ironic since they take forever to give you your food in the drive thru.

I stopped by here after I forgot the dinner that I had made for myself at home. Ordered the chicken cantina bowl — chicken, beans, rice, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. Clearly not a finger food. I got to where I was going and pulled it out to eat before I went in, only to find that underneath the container with my food there was only a couple packets of salsa verde and a handful of napkins. NO spork. I can only assume that the pile of napkins was so I could constantly wipe off my hands as I ate this by scooping it up with my fingers… Luckily, I recently came back from a trip and it turned out I had a spoon in my car still.

This location is pretty awful. They always seem to be running out of ingredients. One night, it’s beans, another night its beef, the next is chips. On top of that, the night drive through workers never wants to be there! They always seem to have some sort of chip on their shoulder.

Constantly out of ingredients or supplies (how do you run out of chicken! Or straws?!), slow service, generally not a nice place to go. The actual food is what you’d expect and they rarely screw up an order but it’s not worth your hassle.

This place ALWAYS RUNS OUT OF the baja freeze cups on the weekends. Every weekend they are out.
Then they drink to fill up a freeze (large or small) into a normal cup. I compared a normal medium to a large freeze cup, and they aren’t the same size. The gentleman told me they are the same size. BS.
Not coming back here again. I rather goto the one in Emeryville.
How hard is it to order the correct inventory of cups?

Horrible service waited 20++ minutes for a quick drive through order. My friend is a diabetic so we are driving along San Pablo Ave. decided to get something quick here I thought it would only take five minutes to get a couple tacos but it turned out to be a 20 minute ordeal we place the order at the drive-​through speaker there in then waited for the next card to get their order it it took them 15 to 20 minutes to get the order in then we got up we thought our food would be handed to us but we had a wait additional 68 minutes in order for our food to arrive through the window the staff didn’t seem to care about customer service at all this was a horrible experience and I probably won’t go back to this Taco Bell again

The drive thru sucks I had to repeat my order three times to the guy and he still didn’t get it so another person had to help me, not only that after I made the order I pulled up to the pay window and no one was there to even greet me or take my money so I sat there and decided to drive off and not waste my time!

Just went to this taco bell at 11:37 (they close at 12). They ran out of ingredients so they were closing early and telling everyone in the drive thru to leave. I told one of the workers that all i wanted was a diet pepsi. 10 seconds later he comes out with a large diet pepsi on the house for my troubles.

Not sure why I’ve read negative reviews about this Taco Bell. I think every Taco Bell should strive to be more like this one. I love Taco Bell, I know I know it’s not Mexican but I don’t care I love it. I always get the same items or combination of items usually

This Taco Bell is so consistent and makes great food. It’s exactly how it’s suppose to be each time.
Some taco bells are some cheap ass bastards and totally rip you off on what you order and they should wise up and realize people like me don’t go back.
This place is pretty darn good. Hope they keep it up. I’ll keep coming back.

Taco Bell was one of my favorite fast foods growing up. When I was little, I used to be able to eat six regular Taco Bell tacos in one sitting. I have since restricted myself to either two or three. I still love Taco Bell, unfortunately The Mother does not, so it is a rare occasion I go on my own.
The two Taco Bell locations my family and I used to go to are no more. The first one used to be on University Avenue in Berkeley. It was closed down and another Mexican restaurant took its spot, bricks, mortar, and all. The last time I looked, it was a doughnut place. There was one in Downtown Berkeley. And that spot is now occupied by a Papa Johns.
About two, three or so years ago this location underwent a much needed makeover and renovation. I thought it was all right. I was able to adjust to the placement of the menus and the procedures of where to order. Not much of a problem for me since I usually order the same ol’ same-​o: dos tacos, uno frijoles, y uno arroz (two tacos, one refried beans, and one rice). The staff there are pretty nice, they do care to get the order right.
Unfortunately, there is no more 24-​hour drive thru at this Taco Bell location. (Bummers!)

Hours are 10 – 2100 inside. There is a happy hour, in which 3 flavors of loaded grillers are $ 1/​each: potato, beef, and spicy buffalo chicken. Few drinks are also $ 1/​each.
When I have a hankering, my usual order is 2 crunchy tacos:$ 2.16

The food is good if you like Taco Bell.
However the design of this place is totally nutso. They have these giant menus up on the wall but they’re not pointed at you, they’re pointed at the street, so that you have to step way over to the side of the counter to read them!
And the same goes for the outside menus at the drive through — very poor design. Weird.
