For almost 5 years, I have been following Katty from Qigong to Albany Professional Spa and now, to this new place at Moon Spa. The reason: She always gives very professional and relaxing massage. The place is quiet, the rooms and sheetings are clean and cozy. It’s highly recommended.

Nothing but positives to say about my experience. Was able to walk in at 9pm and got great service. Katty was amazing! Definitely going back.

Katty and her staff are without a doubt the best therapeutic masseuses in the East Bay. I started seeing Katty at her prior studio and was amazed at the strength and nimbleness of her hands and feet. She uses every part of her feet like a maestro playing a violin on your body. Katty apparently developed quite a following and recently opened her own studio. Her new space is clean, tranquil, and relaxing. I’m a lawyer so I spend A LOT of time sitting at my desk, and find that a high quality therapeutic massage in the evening after work provides some well-​deserved «me time» that makes the stress of the day disappear. Moon Spa’s prices are very reasonable so I’m now trying to go once a week even though I have to drive from Oakland to get there. We all spend our hard-​earned money on different things but to me, a massage that keeps me relaxed, happy, and energized is a well-​deserved investment in my mental and physical health.
Besides Katty, Milly is also great. I’ve seen her several times and now see whichever one is available for the appointment time I need. You really can’t go wrong with anyone at Moon Spa because Katty trains them and they all care about their clients and their work.
I’ve gotten much more expensive massages at high-​end hotels and spas, both locally and internationally, and to me they don’t compare. Part of that for me is that therapeutic massage is a still about the overall personal experience. A standoffish, disconnected, or sterile attitude can easily ruin what might otherwise have been a decent massage. But that’s never been my experience with Katty or anyone at Moon Spa, and I think that’s part of why I keep going back.

My wife and I have been huge fans of Katty for several years now. There is something very intuitive and unhurried about her work that leaves us feeling healthy, relaxed and restored.
M&F Moonspa has a very unassuming storefront, but inside it is clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and professional. Recently, my wife and I tossed a coin over who would get to see Katty and my wife won so I scheduled an appointment with another masseuse named Milly. She was very good as well, and I would recommend her if Katty is not available.

I am not a big Unilocal user but I created an account so I could praise Katty who now works at this place. She was previously at Albany Professional Massage and before that Qi Gong massage. I am very active and a solid quality massage is essential for my life style, and no one compares to Katty. Simply put, in the twenty years I have been getting body work she is by far the best.
Katty is a pure CMT so if you are looking for something other than massage go elsewhere.
