I haven’t been coming here nearly as much lately since my favorite bartender no longer works there. She was a pretty bright skinned woman originally from Columbus that used to pour me up some really stiff drinks(Hennessy and Coke). I use to roll up in here almost every week to make small talk with her and get my drink on. Another reason why I don’t come here as much is because the beautiful go-go dancers are no longer there. I guess they got rid of some girls presumably for budget reasons. Anyway, this is a nice little club/lounge that is located in the former Chill 229 building. The club has been open since May of last year and I would consider it the nicest looking club in Albany. It is owned by DJ Tray from 96.3. The décor is mostly bright white with a couple of televisions along with a large one near the bar. There is also a small dance floor in the rear along with the DJ booth and a secondary bar. The best nights to show up is Saturday as there is free cover and BOGO drinks that usually last until midnight though they have been nice enough to extend it until 1:00 in the morning. Unfortunately, the mixed drinks are rather weak(which is one reason why I miss my bartender). There is also a decent crowd but it is normally a lot more men than women here. The crowd is ghetto but more of an «upscale» ghetto crowd, if that makes any sense at all. I know it sounds oxymoronic but that is really the best way that I can describe it.
