I thought I would give K1 another chance after my abysmal service last time(waiting for our food to be delivered for an hour and a half), and I was mistaken in doing so. Our food was delivered significantly faster this time, but it was very dry and poorly flavored. Too top it off, I gave the delivery person two twenties to pay my $ 30 tab. Rather than offer me change, he took the money and left before I could say anything. Very unprofessional, which makes me sad because they used to be my favorite to order from. I won’t be making that mistake again.

The food itself was good, we were just disapointed in how small the portion sizes were this time as well as the long wait. I hope this isnt the start of something not so great.

Zero stars. Under new ownership starting today. Over an hour wait for lunch take out — 1 order fried rice, 1 order orange chicken. Chicken was so dry we didn’t eat it — over fried and hard. Poor quality all around. So sad because we liked this spot up until the ownership change. Will not be going back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town to dine in at and order delivery from since their food is so fresh tasting and at a great price. It’s really easy to order online as well, however, my last delivery came missing the soup I ordered and I was informed by the delivery girl it is no longer included even though it says on my order it is… Okay then how about updating your menu to reflect that since my order confirmation says it comes with soup?!? I eat here or order delivery with my family a few times a month and this was the first bad experience so far.

Very delicious fresh food! This is one of the only places I can eat and not have that icky, heavy feeling afterwards! I recommend the egg foo young! but I just have one request, mr. waiter, you are a cool guy, but you need to work on your customer service! people do not like not being offered a drink besides water, and slamming things down on the table makes people feel uneasy. I know you probably don’t do it on purpose, but please work on this

I ordered a lunch special of moo goo gai pan– the only thing cooked well was the chicken, the other vegetables were not cooked enough– too firm, and the rest of the plate(the fried rice and the spring roll) didn’t taste fresh. The mushrooms were black as if they were old and they tasted old too. The spring roll was soggy and I was a bit skeptical about how fresh my food was after it came out less than 10 minutes after I ordered. The staff was very nice but the food lacked. Will not be back.

4 stars cleanliness but 1 star for the waiter who kept dropping our food and plates and everything else he brought onto our table with a loud bang– crazy! Even the silverware. 1 star for the crab puffs(crab Rangoon) who’s wrappers were think and hard 1 star for the egg drop soup that was thick and yellow 3 stars for the hot and sour soup and the walnut prawns– they were ok but nothing special. 1 star for the potstickers(with weird wrappers and not very good sauce) and ½ a star each for the cashew chicken and fortune cookies. This food was like the industrial Sysco foods version of what mass food thinks Americans think Chinese food is like. I would go to Pings(which isn’t terrible) in a heartbeat over this place– never again if I can help it. Staff was friendly and they refilled water frequently– that’s about the best I can say.

I liked how the chicken meat seemed to be all white meat. The atmosphere was so so but the food was pretty good.

I had the takeout honey walnut shrimp and #3 dinner combo, which includes little portions of subgum chow mein, orange chicken, spring roll and pork fried rice. I enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp, although it was a little watery. The orange chicken is real chicken(not panda styled orange chicken). The fried rice was decent, it was salty in some area. The subgum chow mein, don’t really know what that was, it was a lot of celery and some chicken. The one spring roll was just okay, I took one bite.

Food was good, nice & hot! Service was not so good-waiter stood at counter talking about guns, then went outside to look at someone’s new car! Had to ask for more ice tea & mustard !!!

My husband and I stopped here for an early dinner. We were excited to try K-1 after having read the favorable reviews. In past visits to Corvallis, we had not found a Chinese restaurant that we liked… until now. We ordered the House Lo Mein which had shrimp, beef and chicken in it and tasted great. The other dish we got was the Black Peppered Beef, which was our favorite. It was seasoned so well and the beef was very tender. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The service was amazing and the food arrived quickly. We will definitely be coming here more often to try some of their other tasty dishes.

The food here is delicious. Got some orange chiken it was nice and crispy with a good sauce and the chiken was juicy and tender. Got some Singapore noodles with good flavor. And tofu vegitable. Had a very yummy sauce and the tofu was cooked well. Service here is great and the people here are nice and welcoming

Overall really good food for a reasonable price. We had the crab puffs, general tso’s and pork lo mein. Easy online ordering and prompt delivery. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the«spicy» general tso’s wasn’t as spicy as we had hoped. This will definitely be our go-to for Chinese delivery!

Great place for Chinese in Albany. They have a very nice selection of food and they are pretty good quality/quantity for what you pay for. I highly recommend their combinations, and the sweet and sour chicken/pork. They also have good shrimp dishes, such as the honey walnut shrimp(one of few places that offer it). Overall it was good experience, both to dine or take out.

Ate here today for the 1st time based on reviews. I got the orange chicken, fried shrimp, pork fried rice, Mongolian beef combo. The orange chicken was excellent. The Mongolian beef was the most tender I’ve ever had. It had just a hint of heat. I don’t usually order beef dishes at Chinese places cause it’s usually tough, but this was very good. Fried shrimp was crispy and delicious, and pork fried rice had a nice amount of bbq pork and was tasty. Our main complaint was that the soy sauce on the table was very watery and had an off taste. I don’t know if it was light soy sauce or what, cause I’ve never used it before, but it was watery and didn’t taste good at all. Next time I will ask for some regular soy sauce, and some sriracha to spice things up a little. The only dipping sauces offered were some sweet and sour and a dumpling sauce for my girlfriend’s pot stickers. I needed something more for the fried shrimp. She had cashew chicken(kinda bland), sweet and sour chicken, pot stickers and fried rice. What I tried of her sweet and sour chicken was excellent, but she said a few pieces were stringy, which usually means old. Service was quick and good. Overall some of the best Chinese we’ve had around here, and we will try it again, with some regular soy sauce and some heat.

Love this place. Everything I’ve had has been great. I usually just order a combination special every time I’m there(which has been about 10 times)!

Delicious new Chinese restaurant in North Albany. We’ve been impressed with the quality and flavor of everything we’ve tried so far. By far the best Albany has to offer, and cheap to boot!

This is my second time here this week. The first time I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch combo. It was good, but a little spicy for me. I should have asked for it mild. I really enjoyed the hot and sour soup, and the fried shrimp tasted fresh, not frozen. I returned for lunch today and requested to order from the full menu, and not the lunch menu. Again great hot and sour soup. I ordered the prawns with honey glazed walnuts. The prawns are definitely made fresh, not frozen. They were plump and tasty, not overlooked and rubbery like you so often find. The only thing I didn’t care for was the hot tea, but that is just a personal preference. I am not a green tea fan, and prefer jasmine tea. I need to come back with friends sometime soon.
