Location is closed! Doesn’t really surprise me based on my experiences there, and the feedback I am reading here as well.

So here is the deal as I see it with this place. I think they just want to sell kits Ect… Went there for 4 weeks in a row for a traxxas part. 4 weeks in a row the same thing«computer says we have one» they look for 10 plus min. and give up(I would for a $ 5 sale also). The guy looking for the part is nice and professional. but the«lady» who appears to be the boss is another story. Rude and sharp about the inventory being off to the guy, in front of customers is nothing short of unprofessional. Believe it or not we, the customer is here for you! Not the other way around Plus the here is an idea actually order the part when you say you will! Believe it or not I want to support local business and not order through the internet. I know this seems a little harsh, but her attitude towards myself, other customers and fellow employees left a very poor impression.

Staff(manager) was rather quick to get irritated with me over a simple issue. I bought two items, then continued shopping. When I found a much better product more suited to what I needed, I asked the guy if I could return the one item and purchase the other item. The guy accidentally gave me a refund for everything I had purchased. I then immediately realized what happened and said, «oh sorry, I still want the other product». Very polite I was not upset. The guy gets irritated and basically accuses me of saying I wanted to exchange everything even though I definitely never said that at all. Mind you I’m the only customer in the store and this misunderstanding took about 15 seconds to correct. It was a simple misunderstanding, and it wasn’t even a big deal to me. What bothered me is how quick the manager got irritated with me and dismissed me as an annoying pain in the butt customer. Now I’m just another customer they’ve lost to online business, where the prices are just as good and the selection is larger. I don’t need to go to a store to get treated poorly. The people running this store need to understand that customer service is they only thing they have going for them. Since they can’t provide that Ill be shopping online, Its as simple as that.

Mid-sized hobby store with lots of RC, plastic model kits, lionel and HO scale trains, airplanes/helos and rockets, and some accoutrements along the lines of paints and customization. It’s well stocked in those areas, and prices seem reasonable if not discount(it is bricks and mortars) but the store is a little dim and hard to navigate because of the large amounts of stock. They need some work on labeling; for instance, having snap-kit models clearly delineated, maybe organizing the plastic kits more explictly by level of skill required, etc. They’re light on take-away-no-assemble toys(very few, in fact) and non-testosterony-toys/hobby stuff. Staff are approachable and definitely old-school with all that entails.
