Hansen’s Wood Floors & Interiors

Hansen Floors (same owner as Adirondack Floors) did an absolutely amazing job on our hardwood floors. They were able to start the day after they gave us a quote and worked round the clock to repair and upgrade the wood floors in our new house. I am a new homeowner who is not very handy but has high expectations– very high. These guys surpassed them all and were cheaper than their competitor who in addition to quoting a higher price asked me to remove all the doors and vents. I didn’t have to do a thing with Adirondack/​Hansen, learned a little along the way, and had a laid bak experience with Danner– one of the hardest working people I’ve met. I recommend them to everyone! (I am reporting on Adirondack Floors link because they are now the same company).

I am extremely particular about everything having to do with our house. While the reviews for Hansen’s were very good, I couldn’t find anyone (reviewing Hansen’s or anyone else) who spoke to how they handled Brazilian cherry floors, which can be very unforgiving and tricky to work with. Our nearly-​new floors had to be refinished because the original installer messed them up, then made them worse in an attempt to fix them. Hansen’s understood how frustrating the situation had been to us and was fantastic through the entire process. They made sure we had realistic expectations of what to expect and exceeded absolutely every one of them. Our Brazilian cherry floors look perfect! They were wonderful to deal with, from the estimator and Bobbie in the office to the owner and the entire crew at the house. I’d highly recommend them for even the most challenging job– rest assured they can take care of it.

We had a great experience with Hansen’s. Our 40 year old floors look fantastic! We had great service starting with Donald for our estimate, Bobbie in the office who answered a ton of our questions, Mike and his crew at the house, and the owner Danner, who did some of the work and kept me informed each step of the process. They left our house just as clean as it started, which was quite unexpected. Very happy with their work.

We’ve purchased floors from other (ahem) bigger stores before thinking about going to a smaller store. We were wrong to think smaller meant higher price. However, we wanted the floor done right so we shopped around. We choose Hansen’s because the price was very reasonable and the service is amazing. When the floor arrived, the manufacturer had sent pieces that were not up to par so Hansen’s decided to make them them reship the entire order! The floor is amazing, completely changing the look of our home. As I write this, I have the bigger retail store coming back for problems with floors they put down in other rooms the retail store takes weeks to get their issue resolved… We can’t wait to work with Hansen’s again when we buy our next home. We would definitely recommend them. BTW– my husband is a licensed tradesman and he even acknowledged the crew that installed the floor was one of the best workcrews he has EVER seen.

I got my wood floors refinished and stained by Hansen Brothers – they were professional and did a great job. The floors have been done for a few years now and they still look wonderful. I’ve had to call them a couple times in the last year or so due to some accidents, i.e., scuffing from sneakers and a nail polish spill that dried onto the wood (woooooops)…They’ve called me back right away with suggestions to remedy the issues and are always there to help. Definitely recommended!!!
