First off, this dentist is not listed on Unilocal.Second, this dentist is located inside of St. Peters Hospital. This is the worst service I have ever received from a dentist. At my first appointment, I waited 45 minutes before being seated in a waiting room that looked inside of the parking garage. I was told that I needed two fillings, I booked my appointment for two weeks later and during this time they did not ask which kind of filling I wanted but rather, placed in the most expensive kind that was not covered by my insurance. After they did this, they then told me that I had a bill of 140 dollars from my cleaning appointment and that I was also going to need to pay for the fillings on the spot. Around 500 dollars? I explained that they needed to look this over because my dental insurance was required to pay 100% for my cleaning/exams/regular fillings. They stated they would look this over and that in the mean time I should book my 6 month appointment. I booked this for 8am on a Monday in December(this month). I never heard from the dentist regarding my bill but instead received a statement from them that I now owed only 66 dollars, with no explanation as to what the 66 dollar fee was. My friend who works at a close by dentist office, looked over the statement and explained that they are over charging for their cleaning appointments/x-rays/fillings. She was shocked at how much this office was charging and stated that I should find a new dentist. I then had my appointment for this week BUT two weeks ago I got a call from the office stating that I did not have an appointment but that my name was on the date? They then asked what time I was needing to come in. I stated that the appointment was made for 8am due to me working 9 – 5 Monday through Friday. They explained that they gave away that appointment time and that they would call back. I never heard from them but yesterday(my original day and time of my appointment) I received a call that I had missed my appointment? I called back and stated that no one ever called me back. She thought for a second and stated that they did a follow up call to make sure that I could attend the 8am appointment. She then stated that I must have spaced it out when they called. They then asked if I could come in later during the day, I have work, as stated above. She called me later in the day again to ask if I could come in at 8:40am this morning. I decided that I would take 40 minutes out of my work day to work with this office. Due to a work emergency I was going to be about 10 minutes late, I called to let them know and make sure it was okay. The woman came back on the phone and stated that this would not work and that I would need to come in later. She asked if I would like to re-schedule and I stated that I was very frustrated with the office and the services I had been receiving. She then stated that because of my missed appointment the day before(never knew that it was actually in place due to me being told that, that appointment was already booked) and because I was going to be late due to an emergency today(a work emergency that I cannot change) that they would be charging me for an appointment yesterday and today. ONTOP of all of this, after my teeth were cleaned, I still felt like there was plaque on my teeth. I rarely write horrible reviews but I feel like everyone should know what they are getting themselves into before going to this dentist. HAVE A GREATDAY!
