Electrolysis & Skin Care by Yumiko

I went here for the first time and did not have a good experience. My skin was much more red and irritated afterwards than usual. I expressed interest in laser treatment and Yumiko (hesitantly) offered to use their machine on me right then and there, because the doctors that normally do it were not on site. I didn’t get the sense that she had proper training for this, so it alarmed me that she would even offer — those machines are potentially quite dangerous if you’re not a trained professional. Afterwards, she told me I could get $ 50 off my next treatment if I wrote a good review on Unilocal — this is totally unethical in my opinion, and I encourage Unilocalers to take the 5 star reviews others have written with a grain of salt.

Yumiko is meticulous and I trust her completely. I’m getting good results, and actually look forward to my time here — minimally uncomfortable treatment, good music, and excellent results. If you’re on the fence, I urge you to call Yumiko and come in for a consultation. Prices are very fair.

I rarely ever write Unilocal reviews, but I have to say this one is worth the time. I am very happy with the electrolysis treatments. The results are amazing. My skin has never looked and felt as smooth, hair free, and soft before. Yumiko is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and knows how to make her costumers feel at ease. She is also very accommodating and flexible with scheduling appointments. The establishment is very clean, private, and inviting. Her prices are affordable and well worth it considering the time and care she takes in providing the best service for her costumers. I have been very happy with Yumiko and the results. With her electrolysis machine, the hair removal is painless and quicker compared to other electrolysis places I tried before. She is also very skilled and knowledgeable about skin/​hair. My skin is a kind of sensitive but never had any trouble with her treatments. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I’ve been going to Yumiko for years. Her style creates the least painful electrolysis possible. She has a lovely touch. Plus she has a very new machine. She’s attentive and very nice and her products for calming down your skin afterwards are really nice. Plus she now does waxing as well… so I’ve been getting my eyebrows done after electrolysis and she’s fabulous!

Although its never fun to admit that I spend my free time getting hair removed from my body in every imaginable way, I have to give credit where credit is due.
