the food is not really good, I went in there order a hot&sour soup all I can taste is the salt Unreal. The food was poorly made feels like the chef pretty much just gave up on his food. No heart no love just throwing things into the wok and giving it to his or her customers SKIPIT!

Truly dreadful. We ordered take-out(hot and sour soup, wonton soup, beef and brocolli, general tso’s chicken) The hot and sour was edible but not good(I didn’t eat half of it) The beef and brocolli had inedible meat — I spit out a mouthful. The general Tso’s chicken was ok. My wife got sick after eating this food(and we through out most of it) I adopted a policy of never ordering food unles we see the restaurant. Cheap and inedbile is no bargain. Stay away.

Not the best Chinese food by any means. It’s standard price and portion size, but the food is bland and super, super salty. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Holy stomach cramps Batman! Pass the Pepto! After working crazy amounts of overtime at work, we were all stuck at our desks and needed to find somewhere nearby that would deliver. We’d already gotten pizza and antipasto the day prior, so we settled on Chinese. Delivery was free, but they only provided a teeny tiny carton of rice for three orders. I’ve never heard of a Chinese place that requires you to pay for sides of rice, but maybe this is the exception? All three of us were underwhelmed. Two of us had the hot and sour soup and neither of us wanted to finish it. It was just, well, not good. It was cheap though. To be fair, the reason my boss and I both felt ill after eating here could have had more to do with the fact that we’d both been subsisting on takeout for the past three days due to crazy schedules. Still, feeling sick after eating Chinese never bodes well in my mind. We actually had sort of wanted to get takeout from another nearby place, Pearl of the Orient, until we remembered that our co-worker found a small piece of metal mesh in his food from there.

The East Wok is one of my favorite places for Chinese takeout. They offer great lunch specials(78 to choose from: $ 4.45-$ 5.60 includes pork fried rice or white rice), lite & healthy options, and 29 all day special combination platters($ 6.15-$ 7.45) which includes pork egg roll & pork fried rice. The portions here are generous and the food is very tasty. The prices here are very reasonable(all items are $ 9.95 or less before tax: 2007 prices). This small place is geared towards takeout and free delivery($ 12 minimum) with only a couple small tables and chairs in front of the counter. When I used to work nearby, I ordered lunch takeout from here several times each week and smelled up the workplace with that wholesome Chinese goodness that only comes from a great takeout place.
