Dolan’s on the Avenue

Great pub food and specials for eat in. I have eaten here a few times and have not been dissappointed. The garbage burger, meatball special and wings are really good. Have had the corned beef and it is the most tender and flavorable I have had in a long time.

Just took a chance on this place because i saw it was new on grubhub. Its about time there is another place in the area with some good pub food other than wt’s! Very pleased, the burger and onion rings were outstanding! Will certainly order again.

Dolan’s on central ave is a place to stop at for simple pub food. You won’t find crazy or unique meals here but definitely good for the picky eater.
Sitting at the bar which is welcoming, I enjoyed a blue moon, chicken tenders and cheese fries. It was the bartender that made the experience an enjoyable one.
Parking can be a pain but a couple free parking lots are nearby. It is somewhat hidden but giving a double glance you will find it.
Great atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying a great bite, will stop soon again.

Nice neighborhood bar with belly warming apps and entrees from the semi-​authentic to the truly authentic in Irish fare (i.e. you can get a version of «disco fries» served up with Guinness gravy OR you can get a Corned Beef Hash and Bangers and Mash.) It’s a much needed addition to an area with no neighborhood bar for a couple blocks. The bangers and mash, wings, and the various appetizers are personal favorites of mine and would suggest them to anyone.
The bar opens at 7 AM for breakfast and serves food to close. I’ve only been for dinner but hear they run a pretty impressive brunch.
The bar staff is friendly and attentive, but could use a little more experience with cocktails, but, I won’t put blame on them, as most people here seem to get draft beers and simple drinks, like Rum and Coke’s. The liquor stock is however, extensive and impressive.
Its a new place and they really need to figure out a way to get some people in the door, because it could be a really popular place; people just need to know about it.

A couple of friends brought me to Dolan’s for my birthday and I’m so glad we finally went. I had corned beef and the corn chowder and want more. The waitress was so help and friendly. If you work in the neighborhood, its an excellent after hours place or great for lunch.

Good god the food is great here! Had the Dolan Burger with the fried egg and corned beef on top and wanted to cry it was so good. Shared the Irish nachos with my buddies — waffle fries with all the fixings plus shaved corned beef! They pour a mean pint of Gunnies to boot.
