I am so excited I found this gem. It has an adorably simple interior. The customer service was amazing. The husband and wife that run the place were so cute! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I got the Corner Stone favorite dinner. It comes with ham, pinto beans, cornbread, and potatoes. We devoured it. My friend got the catfish and let me try it. I normally do not like catfish so I was leery, but their catfish is cooked perfectly. The breading was not greasy or soggy at all. I bet all of their food is wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone driving through. If I wasn’t from Ohio, I would come here weekly. Hope to eat here again soon!

In Albany there aren’t many good places to eat. Other than fast food, you’ll be challenged to find any modern, clean, no grease pits. Fortunately, Corner Stone bucks that trend. It’s building is clean, inviting and welcomes locals and visitors with open arms, whereas most places in town might spook out-of-towners. Fortunately, the staff inside(a husband & wife team) are as friendly as the décor. They’ll make you feel like you’re part of the family. In Albany, this place is a 5-star establishment, compared to everything else. In any big city, it’s average. Still, if you’re in Albany, for some reason, you better eat here, if you value your gut. The food here is as good as it gets in this rural part of Kentucky. It’s not greasy and if you order the special of the day, you might even be impressed.(Grandma actually cooks in the back. And, raves about her homemade cole slaw.). I ordered grilled catfish, with sweet potato fries and apple sauce(which comes in a container, like you buy at the grocery store. It was pretty good, although the fries, etc, are frozen and then cooked. My friend got a burger and said it tasted fresh, not frozen. Come here for great Southern hospitality and average food. The people that run it are incredible folks who grew up in this town. They’ll make sure you leave feeling like you did, too.
