I actually didn’t look at reviews before I ate here and was surprised at all the negative responses. Chow Fun is combined with its sister restaurant Blow Fish next door, so when I sat down in the latter for lunch, I was offered Chow Fun’s menu as well. Their lunch specials were extremely reasonable(~$ 5) for lunch, which included wonton soup. Soup was a generous portion, and the meal was fine. Pork fried rice was tasty and not oily, and the chicken(while not all white meat as I would have preferred) was good and not drenched in sauce. I always appreciate their wait staff as they always check up on patrons throughout the meal. I would easily return or order takeout.

This was pretty much the worst Chinese food that I’ve ever had. If you’re thinking about stopping at Chow Fun Express do yourself a favor and think again. You’d be better off going to the mall food court for a tastier meal. I purchased the two-meat-one-side combo. Both meats(General Tso and Malaysian Chicken) were soggy and chewy. This can be expected when you have food under a heat lamp for hours, but I got there right when they opened. My side was fried rice. It was gross. It tasted like it was cooked in bad oil and I had to toss most of it away. The free egg roll was okay even though it, too, was soggy. It didn’t make me sick and i am still alive so it has that going for it.

It isn’t panda express, but It was edible. I ordered General Tsos Chicken, and fried rice. The place was pretty clean too.

Nothing«Fun» about a case of food poisoning from food sitting out too long in warming trays. I thought food was worth 2 to 2.5 stars first two visits(definitely no Panda Express), but the first rule in the food industry is you cannot get your patrons sick and expect return visits.
