If you love a buttery pretzel then this is for you. Every time I visit this place I can expect to receive the same thing and I’m always satisfied! Pretzels are a bit overpriced, but being one of the only places to buy pretzels in the capital region(that I know of) I don’t mind splurging once in a while.

I remember first tasting Auntie Anne’s Pretzels in Lancaster PA. They were not what I expected from a pretzel. They were more like buttered baked bread. I just figured that’s the way the Amish make their pretzels. Then some years later I see Auntie Anne’s all over the place. Not sure if this is an Amish pretzel or not. They are a pretzel taste unto itself. However, at a cost of around $ 3 a pretzel these are way overpriced. You could go to a fast food burger place and get one of their burgers for about the same amount of money. So how do they factor the cost of their pretzel when you can go to Philly Pretzel and get a few pretzels for the same amount. Auntie Anne’s is a rip off, but as long as the people crave buttery bread that they can eat on the run, Auntie Anne’s will stay in business.
