Albany Lions Club

The Albany Lions Club is a volunteer service organization that holds numerous fund raisers to benefit the local community, as well as state and regional benefits. These are especially for childrens’ health issues and people at need.
In Albany, the Lions, through their own fund raising, built an incredible community center that has been of huge benefit to Albany and the surrounding rural communities. While they offer a number of various activities, my favorites are the car show, the steak fry, the community Christmas party, and breakfast on the farm. They serve incredible home made, locally sourced foods at ridiculously low prices.
If you’re looking for some summer fun, be sure to check out the car show in late August or the steak fry in early summer.
