What can I say I have always had a great experience within this office from the tech to Doctor rob, who sadly has left the practice and move some if not most of his clients to dr Maggie

I had my first appointment last week with Albany ENT. I approached the girl at the desk and she ignored me. I stood there for 3 – 4 minutes before I said «hello I have an appointment» and she shrugged at me then said — NAME!
I was so disgusted on how she was treating me that I asked if there was someone else that could help me.
This only added another wretched girl to the element. The both of them turned around and laughed at me. I ended up walking out. Unprofessional and catty. I can’t imagine who hires these jerks.

The Doctors are great. The PA’s are incompetent. I saw the PA 4 times over the course of a month and paid $ 200 in co pays for the PA to tell me nothing was wrong and it was all in my head. Finally saw the dr and he diagnosed me within 2 minutes. If you go here, do NOT settle for an appt with a PA

Dr. Setzen and his staff at Albany ENT and Allergy Services are outstanding. Recently, I had a throat infection. I was seen by a staff member at my primary care doctor’s office. I was told my infection was viral and I should «drink tea.» Over the next two days my throat pain progressively became more and more severe. I was not able to sleep. I had been getting allergy shots at Dr. Setzen’s office and I decided to see if I could be seen by someone at his office. At this point I could barely talk, the pain was unbearable, and I was exhausted. I walked into Dr. Setzen’s office without an appointment and told the receptionist of my plight. He was very understanding and told me not to worry that usually they can squeeze someone into the schedule. He walked me to the scheduling staff member, who administered TLC and said I could be seen by Dr. Setzen’s assistant, Maggie West Bump. Maggie diagnosed me with a bacterial infection. She prescribed an antibiotic and an oral rinse. She said if I was not better in two days I was to call and she would prescribe a third medication. Within twenty-​four hours I was pain free and on the road to recovery. I thank everyone at Dr. Setzen’s office, who helped me on this day. This is a wonderful practice and I highly recommend Albany ENT and Allergy Services.

Excellent facility, very high end. They are very organized over there, with friendly and efficient staff members. Dr. Setzen’s PA Rob is fantastic. I have never seen the actual Dr., but from my experience with his PA, and their front desk staff, I can tell they are a well run ENT facility. The building is huge, and it is easy to get lost looking for their office entrance. They also have a sleep study center next door as well as a hearing test center. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes. They will also communicate with you via email if you have any questions or concerns, which can be very convenient.
