Chili’s

21 degrees and light flurries and they are closed at 9:45 on a Friday instead of 11 pm due to bad weather per management. It is winter and alamosa is known for cold weather, everything else is open. The truth is bunch of lazy asses just wanted to go home early!
Employees were rude would not come to the door, until I flag them. shame on you chili’s Alamosa

Three stars for the service. I came here with a big party and they had no problem talking our orders. I can’t say the same about the food. It’s not bad, it’s just not great. My pasta was dry and undercooked… Even though it was presented nicely. And why is an order of chips and salsa $ 5? Chips and salsa should be free

Waitress sat our party of 4 with 2 menus. Two of the meals came out ice cold, seems like they were pulled straight out of the fridge. Fajita plate was sizzling but the food was cold. What a mess!

My husband and I ate here back in late March and got food poisoning. We had the chocolate molten lava and shared some cinnamon apples and just had there water. So not sure what was bad, but it came from one of the three things or all of them.
Be careful with what you order… What is wrong with service these days is freaking sucks! Will not return to this Chili’s and maybe not another Chili’s.

We ordered one Ribeye and two Sirloins and all where perfect! Super tender and juicy!
It looks like this Chili’s is new. Everything clean and nice. Very efficient and helpful staff!

Terrible service, Terrible Managerial Response and cold food!
My husband and I stopped into have lunch while traveling. We have always liked Chili’s so it was a no brainer. We were seated promptly and a waitress took our order in a timely manner. We ordered chips, salsa & guacamole along with our respective meals. We got our chips, etc… right away. They were good. Then we waited for over 25 minutes for our meals. We had to get our waitresses attention to ask to check on them. She came back and said they were waiting on something on my husband’s meal to finish. When the meals finally came out, my salad was warm and wilted, the chicken over cooked and the quesadilla was cold & hard. My husband had steak, broccoli, mashed potatoes and baby back ribs. The only thing on his plate warm, were the baby back ribs. The waitress came by about 5 minutes later and asked how the meal was and we told her of the problems. She said that she would get her manager to come out and talk to us – she immediately went to the back room. The rest of the time our waitress avoided all eye contact with us. About 5 minutes later, after we had waited, then just paid for our meals at the tabletop kiosk, had gotten up and were leaving, the manager finally came out. He made a comment about he had heard that we didn’t like our food and he had been stuck in the back. The managers attitude was less than sincere. My husband told him that the food, service and the managers response was not up to Chili’s standards, we were disappointed and we left. We will not go back to that Chili’s ever again.
Also be careful when browsing through the tabletop kiosk at Chili’s, evidentially I accidentally purchased a game, without paying attention and was charged .99 for a game I never played.

Food is average, service is below average, atmosphere is good. Every time I go here the food is just.blah. It isn’t difficult to make a quesadilla.

I had awful service, obviously can’t handle the pressure of a full capacity restaurant. Servers gave attitude to me because they were obviously overwhelmed. I will not return to this Chilis, ever, even if there is a fire.

This chilis has the brand new chilis look and I love it. It’s much better then the old look. The staff here was very kind and worked very hard to keep the customers happy. I could tell that all the servers were treated all their customers really well. The food was great as always. Can’t beat the two for $ 20 deal! Totally recommend this place. Manager is a wicked nice guy and deserves business!

I gave in to the other side and ended up at Chili’s tonight. Let’s just say that when in Alamosa, CO the options are limited and although Chili’s is not the preferred choice, in Alamosa it’s up at the top as far as one of the better restaurants to dine at and it just so happens to be right next to my hotel and office, convenience is key some days.
I opted to sit at the bar while waiting for a To Go order. Right now this Chili’s is offering 2 for 1 drink specials all day every day and I have to say two Cran Vodka drinks gave me a little buzz while waiting for my food.
I decided on the Sante Fe Chicken Salad and in 25 minutes I had finished my drinks, had paid, and had my salad ready to go. Salad was fine and fit the bill for the evening. Tasted just fine for a salad.
Not an every day occurrence but when traveling to limited cities Chili’s will deliver consistent food and service every time.

Oh yuck! This was not a good choice. We could never find the waitress when we needed her, not all of our food came out, the food we had was severely overcooked (think veggie burger like a hockey puck). We finally had to get another waitress to come over and help us. We didn’t even finish lunch, just paid the bill (when we could finally get someone to give it to us) and ran. Highly crappy experience.

Even though it’s a chain, you can consistently count on good food at Chili’s. It is the one place in Alamosa I know I can always go when I want something good. Love their salads and the chips and salsa are the best anywhere!!!

Two words… Presidente Margarita. Pretty consistent chain wherever I visit. This happens to also be the place where you can hangout after 9 in Alamosa.

The Chili’s here in Alamosa is always a great place to go when too lazy to make dinner, or for a celebration! Service is always fast! Waiters are friendly, and are always quick to refill an empty glass!
