This store is ran by an amazingly kind gentleman. I went in to have two watch bands adjusted, and he was very helpful. He made everyone feel at home, and provided great service. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone!

Got my watch battery replaced for the second time in two days, because the first place screwed up (see my review for the Watch Hospital on Park St)…Carl charged me half the price, and he got it done right the first time. Sure, I could have went back to the first place but fool me twice? No thanks… I want it done right the first time.
His shop is located right behind Bed Bath and Beyond, in the alleyway… super nice guy… my Gshock watch has a ton of screws, and Carl was able to take it apart and put it back together in about 5 mins. Did I mention that he got it done right the first time? Oh and at half the price? Is it worth mentioning again? I think so.

My fiancé and I stumbled upon The Gold Spot one afternoon while out shopping. We came back a few months later to pick out our wedding rings, and Carl did an excellent job designing the ring of my dreams. He is very knowledgable, gave us personal and professional service, and I highly recommend him. Whatever jewelry needs we have, whether making new purchases, or having items repaired, it’s a pleasure coming to The Gold Spot!

I came here twice for my band and battery replacement for my watch. Both of the times, the gentleman fixed it right on the spot! I really needed to replace my wrist watch for an exam and was worried that I can’t get it fixed in time (I was thinking about getting a cheap watch from kohl’s as an alternative). But he took less than 10 min to replace the battery! And the price is really reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place!

This is a great place to go to for all of your jewelry needs. The gentleman that runs this location has great knowledge of everything that he has in his shop. There is a very cool selection of items including collector’s coins and money clips that I have purchased here. The most important topic regarding this location is repairing jewelry. He has always been able to repair the items that I bring in. Thank you so much! It’s great doing business with this place.

Great place to have jewelry fixed or buy new. Carl was super nice and accommodating. My wife and I brought in our rings to be fixed and he did a great job for a cheaper price than I expected. I will definitely go again!

I brought some gold earrings to Carl to be repaired and he did a terrific job for a very reasonable price. He was able to replace a small missing stone and hand-​made a tiny piece of gold trim to match a missing part, in just a few days. I would not hesitate to bring him my business in the future.

Carl is a standup guy. I took my watch in for a new crystal and cleaning. He charged me LESS than his original quote, who does that anymore?! I was very pleased with the results.
My watch stopped for some reason shortly thereafter, he fixed it no charge. Thanks Carl!

The size 6 ring I had was too small, so when I got a new ring from Costco, I ordered a 7 but it was too big. A friend recommended The Gold Spot for resizing and I was very pleased with the result. Carl (owner/​operator) measured my finger and the 6 seemed to work. He then measured the ring I thought was a 6 and it turned out it was 5 & ¾ so 6 really was the right size. He was honest enough to agree that my best bet was to return the 7 and order a 6 because it was free and it would be better to have the uncompromised metal. This meant, of course, that he wouldn’t get any money but Carl went with what was best for me and I really appreciated that.
I can’t give him 5 stars because I didn’t actually use his services but he is a SUPER nice and honest guy. Definitely one of the trustworthy ones. :)
