This place is the worst. First off, I just ordered a SMALL cheese pizza. It took around 20 minutes to get to me. They told me it would take around 5 – 8 minutes to be done. NOW EVEN CLOSE! They aren’t even wearing HAIR NETS and I saw a piece of hair in my pizza! Are you serious? Their service is unexceptional. They don’t have a uniform and the place looks runt down. A customer walked in and stood there for a minute and a half. Nobody took their order. They are too concentrated on themselves. Back to the pizza, it looks stale. The pizza was cold. Last, THEY ARE WAYY TO OVER PRICED! Small pizza for $ 9???
Never coming back to this place ever again!

Just finished my slice and seriously the closest I’ve found to new york style pizza. It was delicious. I got the veggie and it was loaded. I ate the crust which I never do. I wish I could make crust like this. Friendly service. Seems family run. I’ll be back!

Pizza was tasty, my only complaint was the place can use a good wipe down. There was Cheese on the tables and on the chairs yet the place was empty so no reason, then when I picked up a napkin to clean it off, the napkin stuck to the sticky table…

Delivers on time, as estimated. Good tasting specialty pizzas, my favorite is the combo.
Today they forgot my 2 liter drink, but the delivery guy went back immediately and picked one up to bring it back. Always friendly staff.
Great crispy thin crust and fresh ingredients, you can taste the freshness.

Nothing really spectacular about this place. Pizza was ok. Service was not as good as I would like it to be. They weren’t rude but for sure not winning any customer service awards. I dined in though, maybe delivery is ok. Pizza wasn’t bad although they do skimp on toppings.

This place took forever to deliver my food and when they got there they accused me of giving them the wrong address. When we went over the texts that were sent they realized that they misinterpreted my instructions, but chose not to apologize, but to insult me further by saying I should have explained better.

Their pizza has been on point ever since I can remember. It’s made the same way every time and carries the same ol’ traditional NY taste. Slices are huge and can easily fill you up even though their thin-​crust.
The pizza is made on time right after orders and the cheese just melts in the mouth from the heat. I always order either their pepperoni, plain cheese, or veggies w/​mushroom. The pizza here is identical to some of the pizza joints I’ve had in Brooklyn, NY. That’s a huge statement!
I love ordering to-​go so that I can enjoy my large box with my friends during Sunday football or even with my co-​workers! They all enjoy the pizza. Management is great here and the service is up to par with taking down orders and making sure the customers come first. This is hands down the best pizza joint in Alameda. I definitely recommend people coming here for a slice!

I had a really bad craving for a warm, cheesy, pizza. I was disappointed when I saw my medium pizza because it looked small… So small it only had 4 (but large) slices! The quality was terrible too. The pizza wasn’t warm, tasted stale, and the soda wasn’t cold. Frozen pizza tastes better than the pizza from this place!
Plus the delivery man complained that my building doorbell didn’t work. I told him that I told the person who took my order to call me since the doorbells don’t work. I then realize that no one took my number down. They seem really disorganized and rude!
I wanted to try something different, but next time I’d settle for Domino’s pizza or even frozen pizza! It’ll taste better and even be cheaper!
What a waste of money! Worst pizza ever.

True to its name, this is indeed the closest thing to New York pizza you will find anywhere around the east bay. By far my favorite pizza in alameda. obviously many Californians do not know what NY pizza should taste like if you give this place a negative review. They sometimes screw up the pricing of my order, but that’s pretty NY too… I just keep a close eye. Eat here if you miss east coast pizza.

I Ordered pizza for delivery and when I called them, they seemed very rude. The guy on the phone was loud and was very straight get to the point. The pizza was mediocre. It was thin and the toppings were barely there. If you are looking for a fluffy crust, this place ain’t it.

We came in with our children. We ordered a large ½ cheese ½ jalapeño and black olive, cesar salad, garden salad drinks for our girls and a pitcher of beer. They were out of the beer we ordered so we chose an amber. The pitcher was ½ foam and tasted warm and off. The man who took our order also made our salad. He asked us what we wanted in our cesar salad. After explaining what a cesar is we saw the packets of dressing. Our pizza came and was undercooked. Definitely would not return

Man this place is horrible. Place it’s nasty I order pizza they microwave or put in oven I really don’t know what they use to reheat a slice of pizza I order. What kind of place do that I was expecting. At least fresh made the same day pizza but it seem like it was seating there for days. No wonder it’s empty all the time. Idk how grubhug can have this restaurant on the list when they advertise top restaurants. Disappointed

The reviews here seem to reflect the constant race and need to improve customer service. Totally could see how all the horror stories could come true.

This is some super thin crust almost spot on pizza. I would for sure recommend it to anyone who is looking for some inexpensive and petty damn good pizza. Their delivery is good to, they’ve never messed up my order or anything. They’re more hole in the wall but that doesn’t make them bad. Truly one of those places that’s overlooked

I walked in here yesterday with my friend from my last Unilocal review of this restaurant, where we were accused of stealing money and then yelled at.
Exact same atmosphere, and I’m pretty sure it was the exact same people behind the counter.
I didn’t stick around to try the food again. Do yourself a favor and go to A-​Town Pizza about three blocks down the street on Blanding Ave. Huge slices and great service, the polar opposite of New York Pizza.
