Marine Service Corps

Pretty much became a convert! We use Marine Service Corps for 90% of our pump outs now. They make it so convenient, and simple. Very reliable service. Easy to contact, schedule, and pay. One way you can ferret out the shinning stars in any industry is how they handle problems. Last week after our pump-​out, my gage was stilling showing half full. Before digging in to the holding tank monitoring system, I called Rich. It was after 5:00PM Friday, but he answered the phone and addressed my questions. One of his boats was apparently having equipment issues, and he suggested a re-​pump for the following Weds. Turned out that there was a problem with the service as opposed to a problem with my holding tank monitor. Saved me an unpleasant diagnosis, and we are back to golden. I appreciate when companies can handle issues in a fast professional fashion, and it confirms for me that I have the right company on the job. Thanks Rich!

I have been using Rich as my pump-​out guy for about 2 years, I got his name from my parents, who have been using him for… a long while.
He is professional, super speedy to respond to e-​mails when needed and reliable. My boat moved a within a few days he noticed and emailed me! He will send e-​mails of receipts when he is done pumping out and you can pay right from the email via paypal which is a HUGE plus for me.
I have never used him for pumping work, but if I ever needed it, he would be the first one my list.

I would easily give more stars if possible. Not only is Rich prompt and professional, the amount of time he spent going over various options comparing prices, styles, and value was impressive. After he came and helped fix a problem on my boat, he then sent me a comprehensive email explaining all options I had. This is easily one of the most professional companies I have worked with in any trade or business.
I would recommend pump outs as well as ANY plumping service you could need on your boat.

Rich, the owner of Marine Service Corps, is totally honest and reliable. He replaced our faulty head and had everything trouble free quickly and economically. Additionally, he provides a pump out service that you can rely on.

I’m going to re-​up my review after two years of really excellent service from Marine Service Corps. In that time, Rich has never failed to come as scheduled (foul weather or equipment failure excepted, and he ALWAYS called). He has also come on very short notice when NOT scheduled. He’s adjusted the schedule instantly for vacations and other such circumstances. He’s even come on board and helped me out with toilet-​related plumbing issues. Billing and payment is fast and easy thru Email and PayPal. He does this stuff at lower prices than just about anyone else around. I can not imagine calling anyone else for either regular or one-​time pumpout work.

We have used Marine Service Corp for almost 3 years. Being a live-​aboard, pump outs can be a regular nuisance, but not since we have been a scheduled pump out. Rich is efficient, clean and friendly and he has often offered suggestions for problems we incurred with our head.
We pre-​pay a few months of service and Rich sends us an invoice with our balance usually the same day as the service. Very convenient!
I highly recommend MSC for one-​time or regular schedule pump outs.

Never thought I’d see the day that I would have a regularly scheduled pump out service, but Rich made it so easy and economical. Now I don’t have to hassle with the crummy pump out gear at Marina Village or Jack London Square… we just get on the boat and go and leave it up to Marine Service Corps to take care of pumping out while we’re not on the boat. Sweet!

Rich and his crew are as good as they get. They have great customer service, are reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We concluded that it was silly for us to spend 30 minutes or more at the pump-​out every trip when we could simply sign up for a regular pump-​out right in our slip. The cost is low and the convenience is wonderful.
Our boat was 15 years old when we bought her and we had problems with «chunky» pump-​outs and odors. There was evidently a lot of residual «sludge» due to infrequent usage and inadequate cleaning. Rich did a shock treatment with Blue Eagle Holding Tank Treatment and we’ve been using it at a maintenance level ever since. In only a few months we can see a huge difference. Easy pump-​outs and no odor.
Rich gave a talk at our yacht club about how to keep your marine heads odor free and he had lots of us saying, «I wish I knew this a long time ago.» Ask him about the importance of proper venting. So simple and makes so much sense.
Rich is an expert with the messiest part of boat ownership. He can handle everything from occasional, on-​call service to regularly scheduled pump-​outs to overhauling or upgrading your entire system.

We have been using Marine Service Corp for our scheduled pump out service for about a year now. Rich is extremely professional and very pleasant. He has always exceeded our expectations and really goes the extra mile. We would recommend Marine Service Corps to anyone.
