Currently out of town, and sad I was missing out on a special birthday. So I looked on Unilocal,and found Flowerchild. They seemed interesting since they advertised of locally grown flowers, free delivery within Alameda, and best yet… they had the Lilacs and colors I wanted! I ordered rather late and was worried it wasn’t going to be delivered on time, and again Flowerchild impressed me with their prompt delivery.
Thanks for the great birthday gift, Flowerchild. Will definitely recommend and order on future occasions. Best of luck for more business :)

Love Flowerchild! I am not usually one to write reviews, but I just love this fresh approach to flower delivery! Upcycled, vintage vases, fresh, CA flowers, and even a budget friendly option with the «minis»?? What’s not to love! I got a large arrangement as a thank you for someone, but am making the «minis» my go-​to gift from now on, will be a great hostess gift, pick-​me up for a friend, etc!!!

On a recent trip to CA, I ordered from this local company. The flowers I received were perfect for the occasion, a small anniversary party dinner. They were simply beautiful, and everyone commented on how lovely they were. Flowerchild Flowers gave me exactly what I asked for, and for a very reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend this florist to anyone.

I’ve been super impressed with Flowerchild. The prices are great. Delivery on the island is free AND I love the fact that all the flowers are California-​grown. Everything depends on what’s in season, so be prepared to not be able to specify what exact flowers you want (ie, a dozen roses, yellow tulips, etc.) but trust that you’re in good hands, because you are. It’s called the Slow Flowers movement, y’all; roll with it.
