DAP is fantastic! The perspective here is that dance is for everyone. The big show they put on in a real theater each year is creative and exciting (different each year, too!) and features every single senior in the program– not just the most skilled dancers or the ones with a certain body type. That’s not to say that it’s not great ballet– these kids and teens are incredible dancers, and exhibit impressive skill. They work super hard to be inclusive and supportive of each other, and I know that’s due to Michaela’s commitment to fostering a fun, rigorous (as kids get older) program that brings out the dancer in every child. I recommend it to any parent whose child wants to dance.

We are still so, so happy with DAP and Ms. Michaela. Plus this year, our now 10 year old gets to dance with Ms. Eva since she is in Ballet 2. Ms. Eva is great. Really a wonderful little dance company.

I was a student here for nearly 13 years and cannot say enough good things about the studio and Michaela, the director. Anyone with children would be privileged to have them dance at DAP. It is a great, supportive community where kids can really feel comfortable and learn a great deal.
