What a memory… this place reminds me of when I was young and broke (well, I’m still broke today, I guess… lol).
Whenever I had a $ 5 bill, I always got a couple loafs of bread, snack cakes, muffins, and some munchies to survive for days or a week. Friendly staff never hurried me. They would let me take as much time as I wanted to fill my basket. Here, they cut the price down to 50−70%. Sure, those breads have a sooner expired date but they won’t leave you hungry for a day or two.
