It seems like this business is suffering from having an idiot answer the phone.
I was looking for a throttle cable and spoke with a guy who seemed nice and knowledgeable and helped me find the right one. They didn’t have it in stock so he agreed to order it for me and said it would take about a week.
After a week I called back and spoke to a lady asking about the status of my order. In the least polite way, bordering on rudeness, she told me she had no clue. She took down my name and number and said she would have someone call me back. No one did after 4 days. So I called back asking about my order. She again took my name and number and said someone would call back. This time she called back herself within a few hours and started to berate me saying that I was already told my order was ready and that I have to come and pick it up. Ok, fine, I just want my part. So I asked when I could stop by and pick it up (they are not open everyday). She told me Saturday. Stopped by Saturday, place is closed. I called again asking when I could come by to pick up my part and again was berated and told that «most likely» my part was already sold to someone else. I asked if she could check and she just repeated that it was sold.
I always find it strange that there are businesses that exist which make it impossible for you to be a patron. It’s like they are running away from money.
My guess is the nice guy I spoke with has no idea this idiot who answers their phones is ruining the business and losing them customers.
