This review also includes the closed Parma location which i frequented more than the Akron one. Actually, i had no idea one was still open until i saw the other review for it. This shop was like a college town head shop right in my back yard. If you ever went to the Import house in Athens or Dingleberry’s in Yellow Springs, you get the idea. Only the music selection was ten times better than those places. And you didn’t have to spend the night in the same town as sandal-wearing fratboys or white people with dreadlocks(not that there isn’t any in Cleveland). There was great, cheap indie vinyl before indie vinyl even made a comeback(i’m looking at you Music Saves). Plus all the usual head shop acoutrements. I miss you QH. Please come back.

Sure, they have an excellent selection of pipes and smoking goods, but it’s all about the music. If there is anything that I need, whether an EP or LP, I know where I can find it. Much of my music collection is owed directly to the buyers at Quonset Hut. Had an operation like this not been in existence, I would likely believe that the two greatest bands to ever record music were Metallica and AC/DC. If you collect posters, need a dildo watergun, love blacklight reactive mushroom candles, or are just a music lover, then you have found your perfect playground right here.
