So far I’ve got nothing against the staff or my experience at either this or the Green office. This review is strictly for the experience you get when calling to speak with someone. Whether its returning a phone call to get test results/​update/​etc, or just calling to schedule an appointment, I always have to wait at LEAST 30 minutes on hold before someone answers the phone, the nurses line is the worst (this is regardless of what office you’re calling, because it all goes through one main system). If you’re lucky enough to get a receptionist within 15 minutes of calling, they will likely transfer you to the nurses line, where you will undoubtedly wait upwards of a half hour before speaking with someone. I’ve called this place more times than I care to mention in the last couple months and it’s always the same. I am really considering switching OBGYNs just for this reason, it’s extremely frustrating. Nobody has time to sit around for almost an hour waiting for someone to answer a phone.

I’ve been here a few times and seen other doctors and was unimpressed. I recently went back for a pap smear and saw Dr. Black and it was the best gynecologicle experience of my life. He is knowledgeable, very friendky, kind and puts you right at ease. He is interested in your life and overall health and shows a warmth I have never seen before in the current field of western medicine. He is accessible and enjoyable. I barely felt my pap smear, which can often be uncomfortable, and he cared to talk me through and show me exactly what was going on with my body. The other doctors there that I have seen are mediocre and slightly rude with typical doctor prentention, but Dr. Black is the real deal
