Karma Kafe

This is definitely not the place for a good hookah. Drinks seem to be good and the servers are nice, but the hookah came tasting ashy. Our hose had goop in it when it was brought to our table. The prices aren’t bad but the hookah was terrible. I think I will stick to valley hookah in Akron for now.

Great hookah spot! A little pricey for my liking. Great improvements inside and awesome atmosphere! Owner or manager is kind of a douche.

I don’t frequent hookah bars but this was the nicest lounge I had ever been in. The place was clean, the music level and quality was good, and my bill wasn’t bad either. We had the watermelon experience which wasn’t as heavy as I would’ve liked but the smoke viscosity was pretty satisfying. It was hard to do tricks because there was a fan on next to us. They gave us 3 coals total which carried us on nicely for about an hour before the shisha started to burn. My friend and I also bought a pitcher of sex on the beach for a nice price. I wish it would’ve had a little more alcohol in it though as it taste like juice.

Definitely the Best hookah bar in Akron! If you’re looking for a good smoke, great drinks, and a good time with friends, this is the place to go in Downtown Akron!

This hookah bar opened in the past couple months in downtown Akron, OH across from Canal Park. The location is nice, as it’s right around a couple bars and there’s plenty of parking in the area.
Karma Kafe is located less than a mile from Miraj, a piece of crap hookah bar. In general, Karma Kafe carries higher quality shisha than most places in the area (including Miraj) and they don’t gouge their customers with cover charges on weekends. The music is loud, which is pretty normal for a hookah place, but it isn’t too loud. You can still carry on a decent conversation with someone, even on weekends.
This hookah bar was clearly opened to do everything that Miraj doesn’t do. They succeeded. This is a more-​than-​solid hookah bar that isn’t too intimidating for first timers, but it can also provide an awesome smoke for experienced smokers.
There are drinks and desserts, but I’ve never tried them myself. The prices on them are reasonable, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.
