On Friday September 25th, I called MOEWIRELESS and asked if they could fix my Iphone 6 plus screen from drop damage(cracked screen). Moe Omar(store owner) said yes and that he could have it fixed same day. Agreed price was $ 147 in cash. He also said he guaranteed his repair and warrantied his work. Same day after I spoke on the phone with Moe, I brought my phone into his store and he was not present, the man at the counter said that he had spoken to Moe about my repair and that it would be completed same day. I had the gentleman write a receipt for there service and left the store. That night I came back to pick up my phone after repair, I received a text from Moe letting me know the work had been completed. Upon receiving my phone the color was different(black to white) he had repaired my phone with a different color screen and took my finger print scanner off the phone and replaced it with an out-dated model from a previous generation phone. I then called Moe(was not present) when I picked up my phone. He said that he would replace the screen back to black and put my finger print scanner back on the next day. I took my phone home that night until he could fix it the next day, during Saturday Sept. 26th the phone shut off and flashed a red screen.(hardware issue) I took the phone back to Moe and told the man running the counter it doesn’t even turn on now. They tried to claim it was a virus and that I was on a website with malicious software on it. I left the phone with Moe Wireless that night and he told me the repair would be completed, back to original working order Sunday Sept 27th. Sunday, Moe did not contact me. I went to the store and called him and asked what was going on and he said he would be working over on the repair and that he would be done with it that night. I called twice that night, and sent a text to no avail. Now, Monday Sept. 28th I’ve gone to the store on three different occations and waited for an hour and a half, but its closed… Called multiple times and sent a text to him saying I’m going to proceed to my legal rights as a consumer. As a result of the end of buisness on Monday, Sept. 28th and still no contact from MOEWIRELESS, I have reported my device as stolen to SPRINT. Not only have I not had my device for 5 full days, but the device has all of my personal information, bank information, various online account information, pictures, contacts etc. I am not only seeking compensation for the device itself; but also seeking compensation for the repair that was not completed priced at $ 147.00, the fees incurred as a result of having to report my device as stolen equaling no less than $ 150.00, and any other possible charges that I may incur as a result of my phone not being returned to me, during a lease agreement and having to report it to my wireless provider as stolen. On Sept 29th after leaving messages to the store owner, and making numerous calls, he called me back acting as if he had no clue about the problem at hand. Only after I made legal action did I receive my property back. Not only was the repair not completed the way we agreed. But the device was also broken, and not fixed with genuine parts. Apple had to fully swap out my phone because of the damages.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sat in about an inch of water for a couple of hours. I tried the rice trick for a few days, then I tried the freezer trick, but still no screen function. I took it in to the Verizon store and they kindly told me it was all over and I should look at picking up a used phone — it seems the Note 2s are going cheap on eBay. But then I was directed to GetMoe and on the SAMEDAY I took in my dead phone, Moe had it back and running! Like MAGIC! I used to manage a technology store where we did in house repairs, so I know a little of what is involved. Moe did a fantastic job and he had the tools and parts needed to service all the big brands. If your cell phone is busted — go see Moe! NOTE: GetMoe may not be open right at ten am. Call ahead if you’re making a trip to the store, and make sure they’re open.
